(Krasnaya Polyana, Russia) -- Germany's Maria Hoefl-Riesch has repeated as Olympic champion in the women's super combined event in alpine skiing. It's the third career gold medal for Hoefl-Riesch, who also won slalom in Vancouver. Austria's Nicole Hosp took the silver medal while American Julia Mancuso won bronze. Mancuso held the lead after the downhill portion of the event, but lost time in the slalom. The 29-year-old now owns four Olympic medals, having won two silver in 2010 and a gold in Torino in 2006. Slovenia's Tina Maze finished just off the podium in fourth.
