(Berea, OH) -- The Cleveland Browns are setting a deadline to name their starting quarterback. First-year head coach Mike Pettine says he expects to make a decision between Heisman Trophy-winning rookie Johnny Manziel and veteran QB Brian Hoyer by the third game of the preseason. The Browns traded up to take Manziel with the 22nd overall pick in this year's draft. Hoyer led Cleveland to two straight wins last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
