(Savannah, GA) -- The Savannah, Georgia, restaurant at the center of celebrity chef Paula Deen's racism scandal is now closed. Uncle Bubba's Seafood & Oyster House shut its doors Thursday without even notifying employees, with some posting angry messages on Facebook. Uncle Bubba's was owned by Deen's brother. One of the eatery's former employees filed a lawsuit against Deen last year accusing her of racial and sexual discrimination. Deen ended up admitting publicly that she had used racial epithets years ago and subsequently lost many advertisers. Deen announced in February that her company is putting 20-million dollars into a new restaurant in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
