Retired Police Officer Charged In Movie Shooting

(Wesley Chapel, FL) -- The gunman who opened fire in a Florida movie theater killing one person and injuring another is a retired police officer from Tampa. Authorities in Pasco County say 71-year-old Curtis Reeves got angry with the man in front of him who wouldn't stop texting and using his cell phone. There was an argument and Reeves allegedly shot the man and his wife. Chad Oulson was killed and his wife was shot in the hand. An off-duty deputy who also went to the screening of "Lone Survivor" at the theater in Wesley Chapel was able to detain Reeves until police arrived.
