(Phoenix, AZ) -- Arizona residents are bracing for some of the hottest temperatures so far this year. Tomorrow morning an excessive heat watch goes into effect for the west-central deserts of Arizona, including an area from Phoenix to Yuma. Forecasters say temperatures could peak between 113 and 118 degrees. An excessive heat watch means you should limit your time outdoors and reduce physical activity if you must be.
