Judge Orders Florida Lawmakers To Redraw Congressional Maps
(Tallahassee, FL) -- A judge in Florida is shaking up the Sunshine State's political system. Judge Terry Lewis is giving Florida's legislature two weeks to draw up a new map of Florida's congressional districts. Lewis ruled that the current district lines were drawn in secret and violate the constitutional requirement that they be compact. Another court hearing on the matter will take place on the 20th.
