(New York, NY) -- FitBit and other such monitors can provide valuable information about your health, but one U.S. Senator wants it to be clear who it's provided to. New York Senator Charles Schumer is urging the Federal Trade Commission to provide a way for users to opt out of having that info sold to third parties. He's particularly concerned insurance companies or employers might want to analyze how much people weigh or how active they are.
