\"Turtles\" Become Heroes At The Box Office

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The "heroes in a half shell" are in command. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" tops the weekend box office list, raking in 65-million dollars in its opening weekend to bump last weekend's leader out of the top spot. "Guardians of the Galaxy" falls to number two, bringing in another 41-point-five-million in its second week. Another new release, "Into the Storm," rang up 18-million in receipts to debut in the number three spot. Also opening in the top five is "The Hundred-Foot Journey," which ranks fourth with earnings of eleven-point-one-million. "Lucy" rounds out the top five with nine-point-three-million dollars.
