(Undated) -- The United Nations refugee agency is launching a major operation to get supplies to more than half a million Iraqis driven from their homes. Hundreds of thousands of people living in northern Iraq have left their homes since ISIS insurgents swept through much of the region earlier this summer. The U.N. refugee agency will begin an airlift of tents and other supplies on Wednesday, followed by truck convoys and sea shipments. The U.N. refugee agency estimates violence has forced more than a million Iraqis from their homes this year.
