Cal Poly to Host Another Conservative Speaker

Cal Poly is gearing up to launch yet another protest against a conservative speaker.
The Cal Poly College Republicans have invited Lauren Southern, a Canadian conservative-libertarian, onetime political candidate and self-published author, to speak on Thursday.
The event is titled “The Return of Traditional Women.”
In a statement, the Cal Poly College Republicans, who also hosted Milo Yiannopoulos in January, said they are proud “to have brought such diverse, thought-provoking and politically incorrect individuals to campus.”
The school welcomes Southern, saying they want to provide a campus “free of censorship.”
Opponents say she shouldn’t be allowed to speak because she is a “rape culture denier.”
