Dozens of House Democrats have reportedly paid a total of $4 million since 2009 to Pakistani IT professionals now under criminal investigation who had access to House members' email and computer files.

The Washington Free Beacon reports Capitol Police is investigating whether five members of the Awan family from Pakistan engaged in criminal activity, including cyber theft, while they had full access to the emails and computer files for dozens of House Democrats.

The House members who paid the most to hire the Awans included Democratic Reps. Marcia Fudge, Tim Ryan, Jim Costa, and former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
