After all, our culture suggests taking a “test drive” before “purchasing”—which, in my opinion, is an incredibly unflattering and crude way to reference God’s gift of intimacy between a husband and wife.

Wedding planning is stressful. Take a deep breath, try not to stress, and remember that God is with you in the planning stages, on your wedding day, and through your life in marital bliss. When you meet your spouse at the altar on your wedding day, it will all be worth it.

And if they are the spouse God has called them to be, they will support you all the way through your journey.

Care about the types of flowers you want–AND the vases they'll be in. Care about the design of the napkins and spoons. Care about what shoes you'll be wearing when you and your new husband drive off together. Have fun with all of these things–they are, after all, an expression of YOU and the dreams you have for yourself! It is not wrong to get lost in the details.But then, and I can't emphasize this enough, let your expectations go
