Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, is criticizing politicians who are blaming President Trump for the violence in Charlottesville, Va. that left one woman dead and 19 others injured.

Some criticized Trump’s speech after the attack, saying he didn’t speak forcefully enough.

Apparently, a few politicians said that type of rhetoric is partly to blame for the attack, leading Graham to post on Facebook, “Shame on the politicians who are trying to push blame on President Trump for what happened.”

He wrote that “Satan is behind it all,” and that terrible events like this are the result of “evil in people’s hearts.”

Graham called on the nation to come together and turn to God and added, "Continue to pray for peace and for all those impacted by Saturday's tragedies."
