Guests Remind NBC, CNN: Obama Gave Classified Intel to Russia

While the recent Washington Post report alleges that President Trump may have inadvertently shared classified information with Russian officials, guests on NBC and CNN are pointing out that the Obama administration intentionally shared classified intelligence with Russia less than a year ago.

On Friday’s NBC Today show, security analyst Juan Zarate said former President Obama gave the Russians classified information about some of the things happening with our forces. Soon after that, the Russians attacked some sites of our allies.

Meanwhile, on CNN’s New Day, political analyst Jeffrey Lord cited an instance in 2014 in which the Obama administration identified the CIA chief in Afghanistan, putting his life in jeopardy.

He also noted that last June, the Obama administration offered to share Syrian intelligence on terrorists with Russia.

The media at the time virtually ignored the story.
