Hugo spritz

**adapted from St. Germain**

Ingredients:

*makes one drink

A few notes on making this:

  • This drink uses St. Germain, a lightly sweet and floral French liqueur made from elderflowers. It is named for the French author Victor Hugo
  • Stir the mint gently into the St. Germain to release the mint flavor into the cocktail and avoid bruising which can cause bitterness.
  • This drink works well served with a straw.

Directions

  • Fill stemmed wine glass with ice cubes.
  • Add St‑Germain elderflower liqueur and a few mint leaves.
  • Gently stir mint and St Germain with ice in glass.
  • Pour in sparkling wine & top with sparkling water.
  • Stir once more to combine
  • Garnish with a more mint and a lime wedge.
