Pat Barrett 'I've Got A Fire' Powerful Live Performance

Oh friend, if there were ever a song that felt like joy on fire, it’s this one. When Pat Barrett sings “I’ve Got A Fire,” in a powerful live performance, you’ll be floored! It’s the sound of a soul that’s been set free, of chains breaking in the background, of heaven brushing right up against earth in the most ordinary of places.

These lyrics, “Break off the chains, let the horses run, unleash the praise at the top of your lungs,” pull something wild and holy out of you. You can’t help but move. You can’t help but believe again that maybe, just maybe, the goodness of God hasn’t run out.

Because that’s what this song does: it takes every cracked, weary place in you and reminds you that there’s still joy buried deep down. That God’s promises aren’t past tense, they’re present and pulsing and alive.

And when Pat lifts his hands and sings, “I could sing forever how You freed my soul,” you feel it. You feel the weight of what’s been lifted and the wonder of what remains: freedom, fire, fullness.

You’ll want to turn this one all the way up. Dance while you’re baking cookies. Sing it out on your morning walk. Let the joy spill over and fill every corner of your day.

And if you catch the end of the live video—oh, it’s the sweetest surprise. Out of the crowd steps a man in suspenders and a cap. It’s his 74-year-old dad climbing the stage with a grin that could light up the room. Before long, he’s dancing, singing, and worshiping right beside his son. Pat wraps him in a hug, and it’s like watching generations of faith collide.

That’s the picture of God’s goodness right there! A fire passed down, joy multiplied, heaven showing up in the middle of music, movement, and love.

So send this song to someone who needs a spark today. Because that same fire that fills Pat’s voice? It’s the same fire that burns in you too.

Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”

We The Kingdom Inspire and Uplift with ‘Don’t Let The Darkness’

Check out this song called ‘Don’t Let The Darkness’ from the band We The Kingdom and let the music inspire and uplift you. This song is a heartfelt anthem of perseverance and faith, reminding anyone who is walking through a hard season that light still prevails. Let it encourage you today!

‘When the world is cold as stone
Feels like you got no place to go
Lift your head and call my name
I’ll come running like a freight train’

What a wonderful song that showcases the group’s powerful harmonies and a raw, emotional energy that mirrors the message. We The Kingdom does a great job at writing songs that speak to real-life brokenness, redemption, and the grace that bridges both.

"Sometimes it's easy to feel like the darkness has the upper hand," the band said when talking about their new song. "This song came from a moment when we needed to remind ourselves, and anyone listening, that hope is not lost. God's love still breaks through even the heaviest night."

The band also talked about how much fun it was to record ‘Don’t Let The Darkness.’

“We focused on the simplicity of being a band, making music with our instruments,” We The Kingdom shared. “It was written during a time when we as a band needed to be reminded that hope hasn’t gone anywhere.”

We The Kingdom consists of multiple generations of relatives: Andrew Bergthold, Ed Cash, Franni Rae Cash, Martin Cash, and Scott Cash. And the band's name comes from the idea that "the kingdom of God is here among us."

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Don’t Let The Darkness’ from We The Kingdom today. May the song encourage you not to give in to fear or defeat. And if you are going through a hard season, hang in there, because the light always breaks through the darkness!

Close to the Broken - New Christian Worship

This song celebrates the scriptural promise of God's presence, especially when we are broken, afraid or in the midst of trouble.

Child's Powerful ‘10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)’ Performance

A child delivered a powerful “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) performance.” While the young man was outstanding as he sang lead vocals, several others joined in, making for an utterly delightful rendition of the beloved praise and worship tune. Watch the short but moving clip to hear the sweet and lovely performance of “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord).”

When it comes to music typically heard and performed in church, hymns are far, far superior, and there really isn’t an argument to be made otherwise. Yes, I know that opinion isn’t likely to be popular and will also put me in a very small minority. I also understand that many houses of worship have abandoned the hymns. But there aren’t many contemporary Christian songs that can compete with the likes of “How Great Thou Art,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness” and “Amazing Grace.”

Despite my preference for hymns, I am big enough to admit that some contemporary Christian tunes are absolute classics. These are songs that everyone loves and knows, even if they aren’t aware of it. One such song is Matt Redman’s “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord).” Even someone like me, who is firmly in the hymn camp, can recognize the power and the beauty of that song and its lyrics.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man, a 4-year-old, and five adults perform a lovely, powerful cover of the praise and worship song loved by many. The little guy starts the song, leading everyone as he belts out the familiar opening lyrics.

“The sun comes up, it’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes”

May that be the song and the lyrics we’re constantly singing whenever we come up against difficulties and challenges. Even when we face these obstacles, He is still worthy of all our praise and worship.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Come to me You that Labour - (Jesus jeg ber by Arnold Børud)

I am never more myself than when God is fully unhindered to be Himself in me; for then He enables me to be all I actually am. So He must increase, I must alter. This song I translated many years ago, and it was used by TenSing Bergen on their visit to England. However, it was 30 years before I actually got to see the recording that this is part of. My version has 3 verses, but I have only been able to find two of the verses of the Norwegian original which is by Arnold Børud and was published in the CD Tvers III

Justin Gambino | 'Just Like Jesus' (acoustic)

Texas-based singer/songwriter Justin Gambino stopped by the GodTube Music Studio in Nashville to deliver this powerful acoustic performance of “Just Like Jesus.” Boasting a joyful, declarative chorus backed by an impassioned Gospel spirit, “Just Like Jesus” was inspired by Gambino’s own prodigal journey, his story of rebellion, redemption, and the Father’s relentless love.

Anne Wilson Wows Backstage at the Opry with Acoustic ‘Hold Your Horses’

Check out this acoustic performance of Anne Wilson of her song ‘Hold Your Horses.’ She is performing backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, and this song is from her new album titled Stars. It’s not just another country love song, but one with a message about waiting for the right person and guarding your heart before you give it away.

‘Before you saddle up with him and ride off in that sunset
It's okay to pull them reins if you can't say he's the one yet
Ain't nothing wrong with dreaming on 'bout rings and swings on porches
Before you let him hold your heart, hold your horses’

What a great song that speaks to young women about the importance of patience in dating. “In this world that we’re living in today, there are so many female artists that write songs about boys and breakups, and I just felt like there was no song with a message like this to remind girls of that,” Anne Wilson shared. “I’m hoping it helps to encourage these girls in a world that feels so dark right now, so they can be reminded to guard their hearts and not give them to someone else until they feel it’s right.”

Anne has also shared about her third studio album, Stars, which includes ‘Hold Your Horses’ along with 11 other tracks. “As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut. I’ve always been in awe of the night sky—the mystery, the beauty, the way it makes you feel small and seen all at once. But somewhere along the way, life happened,” she said. Heartbreak, loss, and disappointment can make you forget how to dream. This album is my reminder that the same God who created the stars created me, and you, too. God hasn’t forgotten you. He’s placing you right where you’re meant to be.”

We hope that you enjoyed this acoustic performance from Anne Wilson today of her song ‘Hold Your Horses.’

It comes out on November 7th, and the songs are sure to usher in comfort and joy!

‘Christmas time is here, happiness and cheer
Fun for all that children call, their favorite time of year
Snowflakes in the air, carols everywhere
Olden times and ancient rhymes of love and dreams to share’

What an excellent rendition of this beloved Christmas song from A Charlie Brown Christmas! The music video is touching and shows Trisha Yearwood getting comfy in a cabin by putting on a flannel, gathering some milk and cookies to enjoy, and sitting down to watch some old home movies. The music video has a warm and nostalgic feel to it, just like the song ‘Christmas Time Is Here’ does.

In her new Christmas album, Trisha Yearwood showcases her powerhouse vocals across a collection that blends beloved classics, reimagined hits, and some brand new originals. On top of ‘Christmas Time Is Here,’ she also includes a soulful new take on Elvis Presley’s classic ‘Blue Christmas’ and a reimagining of ‘Pure Imagination’ from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Other songs on the album include ‘My Favorite Things,’ ‘You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch,’ and ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town.’

To celebrate the release of her Christmas album, Trisha Yearwood is heading out on a tour across the country, where she will be performing alongside local symphonies. The tour is called “Christmastime with Trisha Yearwood: 12 Days of Christmas Tour,” and it starts on December 2nd in Nashville.

“Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of year, and these songs mean so much to me,” she shared. “To be able to perform them with a full symphony brings the magic to another level. I can’t wait to share this music and celebrate the season with fans on tour.”

We hope you enjoyed listening to Trisha Yearwood’s rendition of ‘Christmas Time Is Here’ today!
