Megan Danielle Wows with ‘Goodness of God’ Rendition

Megan Danielle wows with a ‘Goodness of God’ rendition that will fill your soul. She was sitting in a room with dark green walls, the kind of color that feels like dusk just before it fades into night. Her voice quieted the world, like still water after the storm. Megan sat in a plush chair. Behind her, a guitarist played soft, steady — the kind of sound that doesn’t fill a room so much as it threads its way into the cracks of the soul.

And then she began to sing: I love You, Lord, for Your mercy never fails me...

It didn’t matter what kind of day you were having. The ache, the tiredness, the low hum of anxiety that’s become background noise for so many of us — it all fell silent. Her voice wasn’t polished in the way the world sometimes demands. It was pure. It was honest. And it was wrapped in a kind of grace that only comes from knowing the dark — and choosing to sing anyway.

And isn’t that where we find the goodness of God? Not always in the mountaintop moments or when life feels sunny and lined with gold. No, we often find His goodness in the middle of what feels unfixable. In the middle of the diagnosis. The heartbreak. The grief. The waiting room. The wilderness. In the plush chair under the green shadows, with nothing but a guitar behind us and the presence of God before us.

It’s the kind of goodness that walks beside you, even when your world feels like it’s falling apart. The kind of goodness that says, “I’ve been here all along.” The kind that reminds you: the dark may settle around you, but it can never settle in you, not when God is near.

These days, we need that reminder, like breath.

We need to know that even now — especially now — His mercy is running after us. That His faithfulness isn’t fragile. That His goodness doesn’t show up with fanfare but comes close in the quiet, steady like the strum of a guitar in a green-walled room.

And maybe that’s why Megan’s song landed the way it did. Because it didn’t just echo off the walls — it sank into the places where hope had grown thin. Her voice made space for us to remember: God’s goodness isn’t a feeling. It’s a fact. It’s not based on what we see. It’s based on who He is.

So let this be the reminder today:

When everything feels uncertain, God’s goodness is unchanging.
When the world feels cold, His kindness wraps around you like a warm chord.
When you don’t know what’s next, He’s already there — waiting with goodness in His hands.

And maybe all we need to do… is sit still, and listen.

Psalm 23:6 “Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.”

Carrie Underwood Powerful ‘How Great Thou Art’ on American Idol

Carrie Underwood turned in a powerful “How Great Thou Art” performance on American Idol. Her moving and awe-inspiring rendition of the beloved hymn deserves to be listened to multiple times. Watch the short clip to see and hear Carrie knock it out of the park as she performs a classic hymn near and dear to the hearts of many.

American Idol is a show in which a panel of judges, typically big, recognizable names in the music world, judge and critique those seeking to become singers. Throughout the season, those judges give their thoughts and opinions on the contestants and are forced to make cuts, sending many people home. Eventually, as the season progresses, who moves along in the competition and who goes home is up to the studio audience and those watching at home.

Carrie Underwood, a former American Idol winner, is now a judge on the program. In a clip posted on YouTube, the now-judge and past American Idol contestant took the stage on the show once again. This time, she took the stage and performed a tune beloved by many, “How Great Thou Art.”

“How Great Thou Art” is a song that will always and forever remain relevant and powerful. It does not matter how many times you may have heard the song; it will never become old, tired or stale. The hymn’s lyrics accurately and articulately describe Christ’s love and sacrifice for you and me.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art”

Carrie has one of the most beautiful voices in entertainment. Every time she sings, it is abundantly clear why she won American Idol during the show’s fourth season. She displayed her voice as she beautifully performed the hymn about the powerful, mighty, faithful and loving God we serve.

2 Samuel 7:22 “Why you are great, O Lord God: for there is none like you, neither is there any God beside you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.”

Easter Egg Song (Deep Inside an Egg) for family worship by Chris Medway, Kids Praise Songs

he Easter Egg Song, also known as Deep Inside an Egg is a joyful celebration of Easter that compares Christ’s resurrection and the new life He brings to the hatching of a newborn chick from an egg. It combines profound meaning with creative fun, making it ideal for family worship or children's church. Ideally, this song should be led by a worship leader who gives a speech that paves the way for the entire congregation to “cluck” the third verse, which can be hilariously entertaining!! Chris Tomlin’s Powerful Live Rendition of ‘The First Hymn’ Will Stir Your Soul

Chris Tomlin’s powerful live rendition of “The First Hymn” will stir your soul. The popular Christian musician turns in a stunning performance of his latest praise and worship song, “The First Hymn.” It’s a performance that is not to be missed. Watch the short but powerful clip to see and hear Chris perform “The First Hymn.”

If not for God’s love, forgiveness, mercy and grace, we’d all still be lost, and living in sin and shame. There would be no possibility of heaven. We’d be staring down an eternity forever separated from Him, one full of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

But Christ made that ultimate sacrifice. As the book of Romans states, while we were still sinners, He showed His immense and unyielding love for us by dying. He willingly went to the cross, suffered and died, and later rose again for you and me. He endured all that suffering and humiliation because He thought you and I were worth it.

His love and forgiveness are still available to all who call upon His name. He stands at the door and knocks.

Praise His name! For He alone is worthy of all glory, honor and praise. That is precisely what Chris sings with his tune, “The First Hymn.” It’s a song praising and worshipping the Lord for all He has done.

“All powers cry out in answer
All glory and praise forever
To our God
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit”

What beautiful lyrics!

The short clip is powerful and moving, not only because of Chris’s performance but also because the video shows a stadium full of people praising the Lord and singing along. They are singing to and praising the one true and risen King! How could you not be moved and touched by seeing such a sight?

Hebrews 13:15 “Let us then make offerings of praise to God at all times through him, that is to say, the fruit of lips giving witness to his name.”

Chris Tomlin 'The First Hymn' Lyric Video

Chris Tomlin has released a beautiful new worship song with a lyric video, ‘The First Hymn.’ This lyric video will bless your heart!

Chris has been a powerful force within the Christian music scene for decades. Through his worship songs and empowering lyrics, his voice brings us back to the Lord. ‘The First Hymn’ is no exception as it brings our weary hearts to a place of praise. We will encounter many hardships and struggles in this world, yet the Lord will deliver us from them all.

The main focus of ‘The First Hymn’ is recognizing God’s power and sovereignty. All glory, praise, and worship belongs to Him alone. From the beautiful sun rising in the morning to the twinkling stars at night, God is the Creator of them all. By reflecting on these truths, it can bring our heart to a place of awe and wonder.

Chris wants us to stand in awe of God as we listen to ‘The First Hymn.’ We all need to take time and kneel before the King. Everything we see in creation was formed by God’s own hands. The mountains, the animals, the clouds, the sky, and the rain were all created by God’s loving hands. As we worship God and stand in awe, we will be brought closer to Him.

‘Let all be silent
The shining stars not sound
Rushing rivers still
Let the mountains bow down’

With hearts full of praise, we can return to ‘The First Hymn’ day after day. The lyrics will bring us to awe and wonder of our great God. Whenever we are out in nature or looking out our windows, we can reflect upon the glory of God. We may encounter problems throughout this life, yet as “The First Hymn” reminds us, we are serving the God of all glory, power, and might.

“Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds” - Psalm 148:7-10

‘New Again’ by The Heritage Celebrates the Restoring Love of Christ

‘New Again’ by The Heritage celebrates the restoring love of Christ. You’ll love this uplifting song. You know some mornings, it feels like the sun spills a little softer across the garden. It brushes against wrinkled hands planting seeds and worn Bibles with pages thin as tissue — and reminds us: Jesus is still making all things new.

That's the sweet truth that The Heritage sings over us in their brand-new song, ‘New Again.’A fresh bloom of worship rising from the rich soil of their South Carolina roots, this song celebrates what every soul needs to hear again and again — you are a new creation, and your past is faded.

"You make all things, I’m a new creation, and my past is faded — I belong to You."

The Heritage is a collective of worship leaders who simply started out writing songs for their local church. They never dreamed the songs sung over their own congregation would spill over to touch hearts across the country.
But God — the great Grower of small seeds into towering trees — had bigger plans.

Led by Worship Pastor Joshua Phillips from Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville, SC, The Heritage brings a sound that feels like a bridge: a hand reaching back to the timeless truths of Scripture and another reaching forward to the fresh, creative breath of the next generation.

Listening to ‘New Again,’ you feel it: the deep passion for Jesus, the honesty and hope tucked into every lyric.
You feel it washing over you — like a warm rain coaxing new life from long-buried places.

Chris Tomlin himself said it best: "There was something so genuine and refreshing in their sound: a mix of honesty, passion, and heart fully focused on worship."

Maybe today you need that reminder, dear heart.
Maybe you've been tending the gardens of your family, your faith, your daily life for decades, and you wonder if the dry places can bloom again.

The Heritage sings it straight into your spirit:

‘You are His.
You are made new.
The past has no hold because His grace has the final word.’

So turn it up. Let the lyrics pour through the kitchen while you bake bread or plant seeds. Let it be the anthem humming through your heart: "I belong to You."
Because every woman who loves Jesus and tends His promises knows — in His hands, the best is always yet to come.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

Danny Gokey Releases Powerful Video for ‘Only for a Moment’

Danny Gokey has released the powerful official music video for his song “Only for a Moment.” The video for the popular and supremely talented Christian music artist’s latest hit song, “Only for a Moment,” is not to be missed. Check out the official music for Danny Gokey’s tune “Only for a Moment.”

Unfortunately, not all situations and circumstances in life are joyous and reasons to celebrate. Life can sometimes be overwhelming, with all its worries and concerns weighing you down. Often, it can feel like the entire world is on your shoulders, causing you to question whether you have the strength and the will to continue.

But we can rest assured that the difficult, overwhelming period, full of heartache and pain, will pass. While going through those times, we can also have a peace that surpasses all understanding because we do not and will not go through it alone. He never leaves our side. He’s always working, guiding, protecting and directing, even when it may feel like he’s absent.

The former American Idol contestant sings of these trying situations and the need to hold on because they are “only for a moment,” and God has a plan and purpose. He knows and understands what He’s doing, and going through such a situation will help mold us into the person He wants us to be.

“His plan for you is perfect
And this season has a purpose
It’s only for a moment
It’s only for a moment”

What beautiful words that remind us that whatever difficulty or obstacle we’ve encountered is only temporary. There is something better on the other side of this hardship and trial. God’s timing is always perfect, and He is faithful. He’s never let us down before, and there’s no reason to believe He will now.

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness.”

MercyMe Delivers Beautiful 'Oh Death' Performance

MercyMe delivered a beautiful performance of their tune, “Oh Death.” The popular Christian music group gave an exclusive performance of their latest uplifting and incredibly catchy, upbeat hit. Watch the short but delightful clip to hear and watch MercyMe perform their song "Oh Death."

Death is a huge, massive fear for most people. It’s completely understandable why many individuals are frightened about what happens after our time on Earth ends. It’s filled with unknowns, and not knowing what happens next always causes human beings to experience trepidation and anxiety. We desperately want that knowledge so we can be prepared and aren’t caught off guard or taken by surprise.

However, those many unknowns will always exist when it comes to death. We won’t know what happens until our time is up. But even with those many unknowns, death is not something we have to fear. Christ, who willingly went to the cross, suffered and died for you and me, forever defeating death and sin.

In a clip posted on YouTube, MercyMe performs “Oh Death.” It’s a tune about how death no longer has a hold on them. They don’t fear or dread it. Instead, they joyously sing about death and how they have a Savior who has defeated the grave and death.

“Oh death, I will not be afraid
In the end, you will lose
I will dance on your grave with the one who buried you
You ain’t nothin’ but a stone that my Savior rolled away”

If that song and those powerful lyrics don’t move you, I’m sure anything will. Death, while many unknowns remain, is not something that we have to fear. Christ’s love and forgiveness offer freedom from sin, shame and fear, which includes the fear of death. If Jesus Christ is our personal Lord and Savior, and we’re sure that heaven is our destination after leaving this Earth, why do we fear death?

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Breanna Nix's Soul-Stirring Cover of Lauren Daigle Classic on American Idol

Breanna Nix delivered a soul-stirring cover of a Lauren Daigle classic on American Idol. The talented young woman performed “Still Rolling Stones.” Watch the short but powerful clip of Breanna’s stunning and awe-inspiring performance of the Lauren Daigle tune.

The current season of American Idol is quickly moving toward its inevitable conclusion. The contestants continue to shine as they sing their hearts out, desperately hoping to become the next winner. As every season always does, this season has made the public aware of some truly talented performers, including stay-at-home mom and aspiring singer Breanna Nix.

Breanna was shy and reserved in her initial audition, referring to herself as just a stay-at-home mom. Carrie Underwood quickly corrected her, telling her never to call herself “just a stay-at-home mom,” stating that that is the most important job of all.

Since wowing the judges in her audition, Breanna has become more confident on stage. In one of her latest appearances on the show, she turned in an outstanding performance of Lauren Daigle’s “Still Rolling Stones.” It’s a beautiful tune about the power, love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

“I thought I was too far gone
For everything I’ve done wrong
Yeah, I’m the one who dug this grave
But You called my name”

Breanna sounds terrific, as she has throughout the show. But what was most noticeable about the young woman was her confidence, which has grown tenfold since her initial audition. While beautifully singing “Still Rolling Stones,” Breanna moves about the stage and interacts with the audience. She looked like a seasoned pro, someone who has been doing this for years.

The audience and the judges loved what they saw from the young woman.

“I mean, if anyone has ever picked the right song, that is your deal,” Luke Bryan said. “The confidence that you embody – I mean, it was like watching when Adele is in her zone. You truly owned that moment, and you never let off the gas from the start to the finish.”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
