Fantastic Bluegrass Rendition of ‘In The Sweet By and By’

An incredibly talented group of musicians delivered a fantastic rendition of the beloved hymn “In the Sweet By and By.” It’s a lovely version of the song known and loved by many. Watch the video to hear the group perform their stunning and unique rendition of the timeless tune.

There are some songs that will never get old, tired or worn out. No matter how often you hear them, the lyrics and message will always resonate and be meaningful. Those special songs will continue to stand the test of time.

Can anyone say they will ever get tired of hearing a song by The Beatles or Elvis Presley? What about “Amazing Grace?” Everyone is most certainly familiar with that song, but there is something powerful and moving about that opening verse that will and still does cause many people to become emotional.

Another song that will never get old is “In The Sweet By and By.” Of course, as indicated by its title, it’s a tune about the goal and the eternal place that every Christian strives for: Heaven.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Backwoods Bluegrass Gospel turned in a delightful version of “In The Sweet By and By.” It’s a version you can and will likely want to listen to multiple times. Their rendition is most certainly unique!

“In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore”

While the song is about Heaven and looking toward that wonderful and majestic location where there is no sickness, sorrow or death, I believe it’s a song that has stood the test of time for another reason. It’s a song of hope and a future in which we will connect and reunite with those who have passed on ahead of us. The lyrics also mention finally seeing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Genavieve Linkowski’s Stunning Rendition of ‘Revelation Song’

There are moments in worship when the very air feels thin, and the weight of God's holiness wraps around you like a quiet but unshakable truth. Genavieve Linkowski's stunning rendition of ‘Revelation Song’ will have you lifting your hands in reverence whether you’re at home, at work, or driving in your car. It’s a moment of holiness so sacred you can’t help but sing, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." This song isn’t just heard. It’s felt in the deepest parts of our soul.

With every note, Genavieve draws us into the throne room of God as her words come to life, and we imagine what it must be like:

‘Clothed in rainbows of living color
Flashes of lighting, rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor, strength and glory and power be
To You, the only wise King’

As she sings, the truth of the lyrics doesn’t just sit in the air. It vibrates deep in your bones, causing you to pause, to breathe, to remember–this isn’t just a song, it’s a declaration of praise. What makes her rendition so powerful isn’t just her voice but her heart for worship that she breathes into the song. You can feel it from her heart that she knows the worthiness of the Lamb, and you can feel the longing to join in the eternal worship happening all around the throne of God as she brings these words to life. For just a moment, we’re caught up in that heavenly vision–a place where our hearts are overwhelmed with the power, the glory, and the mightiness of God.

We appreciate the authenticity of her worship and how much she loves Jesus. She’s drawn us into her hearts since her first moment of hitting the stage of American Idol in 2018 before returning to the show again in 2019 after the tragic loss of her sister, Corinn. Through it all, she finds the depth of God’s love in the pain and loss. Her journey and her love for Jesus reflect a blend of faith, family, and a passion for worship.

Revelation 4:8 "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come."

TobyMac’s ‘God Did It’ Official Lyric Video

TobyMac has released the official lyric for his hit song “God Did It.” “God Did It,” by the massively talented and popular Christian music artist, is a catchy, encouraging and uplifting tune about God’s power and ability to bring about hope and change. Watch the video to hear the powerful and moving song.

Human beings have the ability to screw things up royally. We can take any and every situation and make a mess of it. We’re weak and imperfect and, as the Bible says, sinners who have all fallen short of the glory of God.

Because of sin, people continually get themselves into horrible situations. But instead of turning to God, most people will continue digging, getting themselves deeper and deeper into sin. It can get so bad that the circumstances appear rather bleak and hopeless. Thankfully, there is One who has already defeated sin and death and who interjects hope into seemingly hopeless situations.

TobyMac sings about these times when there is no way forward; there is no hope. But somehow, we made it through, surviving a situation and circumstances that can have no other explanation than God’s loving, guiding and protecting hand was involved.

The song’s chorus is a beautifully written set of lyrics about God’s miraculous, life-saving power and strength.

“Ain’t nobody but God did it
There’s no way around
Some things you can’t explain away
Too good for me to doubt”

In the tune’s opening verse, TobyMac sings about a young man whose life is in shambles. He is struggling physically and mentally, and his family is falling apart. He then asks for prayer for him and his current situation. Fast forward a year, and everything in that man’s life has changed. According to the song, the only explanation he had for the monumental change in his life was that God did it.

Psalm 37:5 “Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.”

Powerful ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ Cover Lyric Video Will Give You Chills

The powerful vocal performances in a “Bridge Over Troubled Water” cover lyric video will give you chills. This rendition of the classic tune is nothing short of outstanding. Watch this video and listen to this lovely cover of the Simon and Garfunkel song; you will, without a doubt, be glad you did.

Singing songs initially written, recorded and performed by other musicians is a widespread, age-old practice. It’s a tradition that is likely not going anywhere. Now, because of the invention and popularity of social media, they will almost assuredly be around for the long haul.

Performing covers is something that nearly every band and musician does at some point in their career. However, a handful of songs have spawned cover after cover after cover. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” is arguably one of the most popular targets for the cover treatment. YouTube has a seemingly string of pages with nothing but “Bridge Over Troubled Water” cover videos.

David Phelps has now joined the “Bridge Over Troubled Water” cover club. In a video posted on YouTube, he beautifully performs the beloved tune. He and the other vocalists who join him for the chilling performance powerfully belt out the iconic and memorable lyrics.

“Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down”

One could easily argue that this is one of the best covers of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” The longer the video continues, the more you will be impressed with the incredible amount of talent crammed into the five-minute and forty-second video. Whenever you think the musicians have hit their ceiling, doing all they are musically capable of doing, they continually take it up another level.

What an incredible, outstanding musical performance.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Trio Delivers Sweet Rendition of ‘Goodness of God’

A trio—three youngsters—delivered a sweet rendition of “Goodness of God.” The talented children beautifully sang the popular contemporary Christian music tune. Watch the video to see and listen to their cute and utterly charming performance.

Contemporary Christian music is a popular choice for the music played and heard in churches and other houses of worship. Yes, hymns are still played and performed on Sunday mornings, but more and more churches seem to be opting for contemporary Christian songs for the worship portion of their service.

Of course, the increasing popularity of contemporary Christian music among churches means songs like “Goodness of God” are heard more frequently. It is easily one of the more popular contemporary Christian songs. One could even consider it a classic. Even those who aren’t fans of that specific genre of music are likely to be familiar with “Goodness of God.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Karolina Protsenko and her brothers, 4-year-old Nicholas and 6-year-old Leo, all three lend their vocal talents during their performance of “Goodness of God.” The three youngsters show they have been incredibly blessed with much musical ability, putting on a sweet and beautiful rendition of the song.

‘Cause all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God”

In addition to her beautiful singing, Karolina even finds time to play the violin during the performance.

But the three youngsters aren’t the family members whose talents are fully displayed in the five-minute clip. The video’s description adds that the children’s mother, Ella Protsenko, tickles the ivories, playing the piano as her children provide the vocals.

What a beautiful rendition of this incredibly powerful and popular tune!

James 1:17 “Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no fickleness, neither shadow of turning.”

Beautiful 'I Surrender All' Hymn Duet Rendition

Two people delivered a beautiful and moving rendition of the hymn “I Surrender All.” This is a charming cover of the tune that is beloved by many. Watch the video to listen to and watch the duet; you will be glad you did so.

Human beings, for the most part, like being in control. We like, and some may argue, even need the feeling that what we do and say has a bearing on and impacts the events that take place in the future. And in most cases, that is correct. Our choices and decisions are a significant factor in what happens going forward, at least to a point.

However, there are and will be situations in life over which we do not have control. The outcome, in those instances, is entirely out of our hands. Because we no longer have that control, the future is unknown. The road ahead is murky and unclear, which is frightening. But in those times, we must rely upon Him and put that situation at the Lord’s feet.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nita and Gary Talley perform a duet of “I Surrender All.” “I Surrender All” is a hymn, a song well-known by many. It perfectly and accurately describes the need to hand over power and control to the Lord—control over our lives and situations in which the outcome is unknown, where what we do or say will have little to no impact.

“All to Jesus, I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live”

Those words are much easier to sing than actually to do. It requires giving up that precious, very valuable control, which means so much to so many. However, placing our faith and trust in the One who is capable of much more than we could ever imagine and comprehend is what Christians are supposed to do. We walk by faith, not by sight.

James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Worship Team’s Stunning ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)’ Performance

In the quiet of a Sunday morning, beneath the soft light spilling in through the windows, was a moment this worship team’s stunning ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)’ performance. This incredible moment took place at First Baptist Clarksville, and it felt like heaven opened up–an unexpected encounter with grace. As the worship team took the stage, the opening chords of ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)’ filled the sanctuary, and it was as if time itself paused.

The air shifted, heavy with something holy. As the words were being sung, time seemed to have stopped, and there was no rush. Only the sweet, slow unfolding of a truth that had been woven into our hearts since the moment we surrendered to Jesus.

This timeless hymn, ‘Amazing Grace,’ is more than a worship song to be sung on Sunday mornings; it is a prayer—a prayer for the broken, the lost, and the redeemed. It is the song of a lost soul finding its way home, of chains falling away, of being freed by the grace that we can never earn but only receive.

As the voices of the worship team rose, harmonizing in unison, there was a weight to the lyrics that seemed to echo through the very walls of the church: “My chains are gone, I’ve been set free.”

It wasn’t just a song anymore. It became a declaration. It became a moment of freedom, of sins forgiven, of lives being made whole. Isn’t that what grace is all about? We, as sinners, cherish these words as if they were an anthem for Christ.

And in that moment, in the stillness of that place, something shifted in the hearts of those gathered. It was as if the chains of fear, of shame, of doubt, were gently, tenderly loosened by the truth that had been sung—grace, boundless and unrelenting, washed over everyone present, a sweet balm for weary souls.

This incredible worship moment was more than just a song to be sung. It was a living, breathing testimony of what it means to be set free. The Clarksville Baptist Church didn’t just sing the words, they invited us into the miracle of redemption, into the wonder of God’s amazing, unmerited grace. And as the final notes lingered in the air, hearts soared, lifted by the grace that had freed them.

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

Bluegrass Rendition of ‘Just a Little Talk with Jesus’

There’s something raw and deep about stepping into the home of the Backwoods Bluegrass Band nestled in the woods as they perform their twangy rendition of ‘Just a Little Talk with Jesus.’ Hailing from the heart of southern Indiana, this band carries on the sacred Bluegrass beat with reverence, a little bit of fun, and a whole lot of joy. Their harmonies echo across the hollers and hills, resonating with the kind of faith that knows both the ache of sin and the triumph of redemption.

The Backwoods Bluegrass Band is made up of Rusty Collier on the banjo, Austin Harper on the bass, Hunter Phillips on the mandolin, and Sarah Stewart on the fiddle. Their latest album ‘Southern Train’ was released in 2023 and is undoubtedly a big hit because each song carries the promise of God’s unchanging grace.

The timeless hymn of ‘Just a Little Talk with Jesus; anchors their music with lines like, “And then a little light of heaven filled my soul’ reminding us of the beauty of God’s nearness. This song is for the weary, the wandering, and the worshipful–a call to return to the simplicity of faith and the power of prayer.

‘I may have doubts and fears my eyes be filled with tears

But Jesus is a friend who watches day and night

I go to Him in prayer He knows my every care

And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right’

I love how this song reminds us we are never far from hope when life feels heavy. A little talk with Jesus? It makes everything right. Whether you’re standing in the shadow of struggle or walking in the light of day, this song carries the promise that Jesus hears every cry, every whisper, and answers by and by.

Let this melody lift your heart and bring your prayer wheel, turning, and burning, and lighting the way back to the One who never fails to make it right!

Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Soul-Stirring ‘Trust and Obey’ Hymn Cover

Don’t miss this soul-stirring ‘Trust and Obey’ hymn cover by YouTube artist known as Folks And Hymns. Though we don’t know her name, she has over 18,000 subscribers online and obviously has a gift for worship music.

There’s a sacred hush that falls over her living room as she sits in front of her dark fireplace when she starts to sing. Her guitar is cradled close, and she pours out the kind of music that feels like a prayer whispered straight from heaven. Her angelic voice carries the familiar hymn but it’s more than just the music you hear–it’s her heart for the Lord that moves you.

‘Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,

But our toil He doth richly repay;

Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,

But is blessed if we trust and obey.’

You can see it in her eyes, hear it on every note, and she believes those words. They’re not just lyrics but lifelines. Each phrase wrapped in her quiet conviction becomes an invitation to trust a little deeper and obey a little more fully, and rest in the steadfast love of Jesus. It’s as if she carried the meaning of the song from its original writer, John H Sammis, who wrote the hymn in 1887. The hymn reveals how walking with God brings delight, peace, and joy. And how everything else in life, the big worries, the struggles, and loneliness, take a back seat when we focus our eyes on Him and trust and obey!

Let this movement of worship lift your heart. Let it remind you that there’s no burden too heavy, no sorrow too deep, and no path too dark for the One who calls us to trust and obey. And as you listen, may you mind your own heart stirred to lay it all at the feet of Jesus, knowing His ways are always good.

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
