Powerful and Beautiful Performance of 'Your Ways Are Higher Than Mine'

One young woman, Isabelle Slatcha, delivered a powerful and beautiful performance of “Your Ways are Higher than Mine.” This is an excellent rendition of a tune about having faith and relying upon Him in uncertain and confusing circumstances. This dazzling performance, which deserves to be watched and listened to multiple times, will likely bring a tear or two to your eye.

Life does not always go according to our plan if you haven’t already figured that one out. Unforeseen troubling circumstances and obstacles, often through no fault of our own, will pop up out of nowhere, making life more difficult. Of course, our natural reaction is to respond with anger or sadness and claim that this situation isn’t part of the plan.

But, as all Christians learn sooner or later, God isn’t beholden to our plans, objectives or ambitions. He has a plan and a will for our lives. He may have a plan to use the obstacles and hurdles that cause uncertainty in our lives to help mold us into the person that He wants us to be. We don’t know, but in those times, we have to trust Him, lay it at His feet and understand that His plans are higher and better than our ways.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young woman sings a tune about having faith and trusting in God even when things ahead appear a bit murky and unclear. “Your Ways are Higher Than Mine,” originally a tune by The Collingsworth Family, is a wonderfully written tune about accepting what we don’t know and laying that situation at His feet.

“Your ways are higher than mine

I want mountains to move

You want me to climb

So, I’m going to trust Your work, Your will and Your time”

Later in the song, the lyrics mention something we’ve all likely done after getting through a time of great uncertainty when all we could do was trust Him. We’ll look back at the situation and be amazed because we’ll be able to see how He was at work in that situation. His ways are better and higher than ours.

2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Redeemed Quartet 'When We All Get to Heaven' Music Video

Redeemed Quartet has released an official music video for their soul-stirring cover of the beloved hymn “When We All Get to Heaven.” The guys delivered a stunning and powerful rendition of the timeless tune. Check out this video for the delightful cover of “When We All Get to Heaven.”

Hymns are underrated, underused and underappreciated pieces of music. Most people, and even many churches, forgo and skip right over the hymns, opting to go with more modern, contemporary Christian music. That’s fine and ultimately a personal choice, but most hymns are so powerful and wonderfully written.

Contemporary Christian music cannot compete with the hymns, in my opinion. What modern praise and worship song could ever come close to matching “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “Blessed Assurance” or “To God Be the Glory?” And that is without even mentioning “Amazing Grace,” which everyone knows cannot be topped.

“When We All Get to Heaven” is another hymn that many others cannot best. It’s a tune about the unexplained joy and happiness that will be felt after finally getting to our eternal home. We’ll finally be able to see our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and be reunited with loved ones who have already gone on to glory.

“When we all get to heaven

What a day of rejoicing that will be!

When we all see Jesus

We’ll sing and shout the victory!”

In the video, the four young men demonstrate their immense musical talent, using their powerful voices to sing about that special moment when we finally make it to heaven. Their voices are so smooth, soothing and comforting. This is one rendition of the beloved hymn that you will want to watch and listen to repeatedly. What charming vocal performances from every member of the group!

John 14:2 “In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I got to prepare a place for you.”

Lucy and Martha Thomas Stunning ‘Silent Night’ Sister Duet

Sisters Lucy and Martha Thomas delivered a stunning duet of the beloved Christmas hymn “Silent Night.” The two young women demonstrated their immense musical gifts and abilities with their lovely performance of the classic. Check out the video to watch and listen to their dazzling rendition.

Christmas is a season with no shortage of tunes. There is bound to be a Christmas-themed song for every taste and preference. Santa, Frosty and Rudolph all get their time to shine, and many tracks are dedicated to them and their Christmastime adventures.

While those secular songs are fun and enjoyable, other more classic, religious Christmas songs help put the focus on the real meaning and cause for the celebration: the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a meaningless and empty exercise without celebrating and honoring Christ's arrival on Earth. One of those songs that best captures the significance and importance of Christ’s birth for all humanity is “Silent Night.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Thomas sisters perform a charming rendition of that timeless tune about the evening Jesus Christ entered the world. Yes, it may be a song we’ve all heard hundreds, possibly thousands of times, but that does not diminish the lyrics' beauty and meaning.

“Silent night! Holy night!

All is calm, all is bright

‘Round yon virgin mother and child!

Holy infant, so tender and mild”

Christmas is a wonderful but typically busy time of year. People are often rushing to pick up an extra gift, hurrying to wrap presents or hustling over to yet another Christmas party. However, whatever we do during Christmas, let us remember the real reason for all the gatherings, meals and gifts.

Christmas is a celebration of when Jesus Christ, the greatest gift ever given, entered the world, which the two talented singers so beautifully sang about.

Luke 2:7 “And she had her first son; and folding him in linen, she put him to rest in the place where the cattle had their food, because there was no room for them in the house.”

Soul-Stirring A Cappella Cover of 'When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder'

Dailey & Wincent sure know how to put on a show. From the very first note in this performance, your ears will perk up and be ready to listen to what they have planned next. These vocals are absolutely smooth and harmonious. Check out this soul-stirring a cappella cover of 'When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder.'

In this live performance on “God Bless America Again,” Dailey and Wincent sing completely a cappella. Each voice is crisp, strong, confident, and has stunning tones. As the soloist begins the verse, you hear an ease in his voice with such emotion and intentionality. He is a true artist. Then, you hear incredible background vocals harmonizing for the chorus. The tenor, in particular, wows you with his high-pitched sounds.

The quartet does a great job at key-changing and wowing the audience. Suddenly, the bass sings out a solo for the next verse. The host looks incredibly impressed in the background. His deep voice hits notes that are unbelievable. You will be shocked at his abilities. We are all amazed as the group sings tight harmonies in the chorus again. It is inspiring in our faith that our faith and salvation are secure in Jesus. He has made a way for us to have confidence in heaven. Listening to this song will motivate your heart and bless you with the gift of encouragement.

Do you have confidence in your security in heaven? Jesus gives us this peace and hope. As we hear this song, we are reminded of this good news of the gospel. When our faith is in Jesus, our names are written in the book of life in heaven forever.

“Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20

‘Emmanuel God With Us’ Chris Tomlin and Anne Wilson Lyric Video

Chris Tomlin and Anne Wilson, two of the most talented people in the Christian music scene, collaborate in the official lyric video for “Emmanuel God with Us.” This beautiful and moving tune is about the newborn King who was sent to Earth to save mankind from their sins. Be sure to check out this Christmas-themed song and lyric video!

The Christmas season is undoubtedly the best time of the year. That’s a statement and conclusion sure to reach a near consensus. Yes, there are bound to be a handful who disagree and say that some other holiday is better than Christmas, but those people will be few and far between.

However, as great and busy as the Christmas season can be, it’s important not to forget the reason for all the festivities, parties and gifts. It’s the time when we celebrate and honor the greatest gift of all—Jesus Christ.

In “Emmanuel God with Us,” Chris and Anne sing beautifully about the child—the world's Savior—born to a virgin in a lowly manger surrounded by barnyard animals. This is a masterfully written and performed song about Christ, the Messiah, sent to Earth to atone for our sins.

“Go tell it on the mountain
This Baby born of virgin birth
The ruler of all nations
The glory of our God has come to Earth”

Not only is this tune delightful, but it also focuses on what is important to remember and the reason for the Christmas season. Christmas is often a hectic and chaotic time of year, and through all the hustle and bustle, that can be lost. But let us not forget, as the lyrics state, that Jesus Christ, “the King of our salvation,” has been born on this day.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Children’s Choir Delivers Beautiful 'Joy to the World' Cover

There’s something about music that breaks through the noise of our hearts and carries us straight into God’s presence. That’s exactly what I felt when I listened to the One Voice Children’s Choir deliver ‘Joy to the World’ in a beautiful church sanctuary just in time for Christmas!

The sanctuary was filled with a radiant glow as soft light streamed through stained-glass windows, casting vibrant colors across the pews. One by one, the choir members dressed in different colored robes began to join in to sing the wondrous triumph of the birth of Christ with a glorious Jazz and Blues style. When they sang, “Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King,” it was a declaration to let the truth of those words settle into our souls in this busy hustle and bustle of the Christmas season.

Watching children pour their hearts into worship moved my heart and made me smile. It reminds us of Jesus’ words in Matthew 18:3, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” That’s what I love most about this song. It invites us to be kids again, awaiting the best gift we could ever imagine. It’s a reminder that joy isn’t confined to a song or a moment—it’s a posture of the heart.

As they sang the lyrics, “Let every heart prepare Him room,” I couldn’t help but reflect: Am I making space for Jesus in my life this season? Am I truly receiving the joy He offers, or am I letting the busyness crowd Him out? This Christmas, let’s allow our hearts to echo the song of those children. Let’s receive our King with joy and prepare Him room so His light can shine through us as it did through their voices.

Matthew 18:3 “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Sibling Trio’s Stunning ‘Little Drummer Boy’ Performance Wows

A trio of siblings delivered a stunning “Little Drummer Boy” performance that will leave everyone wowed and amazed. The three talented young people displayed their immense musical abilities and talents with their dazzling rendition. This is a must-see see clip.

The Christmas season is one in which there is no shortage of songs. There are a ton of beloved Christmas hymns and other songs celebrating and honoring the birth of Jesus Christ. More secular tunes about Santa Claus, Frosty and Santa’s eight helpful reindeer are also plentiful. For every preference or taste, there is bound to be a Christmas song to match.

Honestly, the biggest problem with Christmas songs is when to begin playing them. Some people say after Halloween. The majority believe it’s best to wait until after the Thanksgiving meal. However, there are even some who, for whatever reason, feel it’s OK to listen to Christmas songs before October 31.

Whatever your preference, there are some Christmas songs that will never grow old or tired. They are classics for a reason, one of which is “Little Drummer Boy.” In a clip posted on YouTube, three siblings who call themselves Life in 3D turn in a magnificent vocal performance of the timeless tune.

Over the years, there have been dozens, perhaps hundreds, of covers and renditions of “Little Drummer Boy.” It’s one of those songs that everyone, at one time or another, seems to perform and record. However, this one, which is delivered with such beauty and ease, is one of the best that you’re likely ever to hear.

These three young people continually show how much they’ve been blessed musically. This video of the trio performing “Little Drummer Boy” is no exception. Like nearly every one of their videos, this is one that you’ll want to listen to and watch repeatedly.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Beautiful 'O Come All Ye Faithful' Cypress Fyre A Cappella Cover

The talented trio who make up Cypress Fyre delivered a beautiful a cappella cover of “Come All Ye Faithful.” This rendition of the beloved Christmas hymn is one that you will want to listen to and watch repeatedly during the Christmas season. Check out the video for the group’s stunning vocal performance.

Christmas is a wonderful time of year. It’s a season filled with friends, family, gift exchanges and delicious, mouth-watering food. What other time of year could compete with all that? Those who believe another time of year is better than Christmas are simply mistaken, a conclusion that would find wholehearted agreement with many.

In addition to spending time with friends and family and eating delectable meals and treats, Christmas has yet another thing going for it. There are a plethora of songs about Christmas, many of which are near and dear to the hearts of many for a variety of reasons.

One tune likely to occupy a special place in the hearts of many is “All Come All Ye Faithful.” Cypress Fyre, which consists of Chris Rupp, Tyler Walls, and Jeff Grider, turned in a stunningly beautiful a cappella rendition of the timeless hymn. Using only the strength of their voices, the three gentlemen delight and dazzle as they sing about the Savior’s birth.

“O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem!
Come, and behold Him, born the King of angels!”

Yes, the song may be hundreds of years old, and you’ve likely heard it thousands of times, but it’s one tune that will never get old and tired. Christ, born to a virgin in a lowly manger surrounded by barnyard animals, was and is the greatest gift ever given. No other present will ever be able to top God sending His son to Earth to save man from their sins. That is something that will always be worth singing about, no matter the song.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
