Weeds & Wheat_Matthew 13: 24-30__Dr. Thrasher teaches today on Jesus’ parable of separating the wheat from chaff. An interesting point is brought up about the domestication of wheat and the fact that we start off on our journey as Christians as weeds ourselves.
Summary: It's a very human thing for a person to want to lash out or strike back. But Jesus said that's not His way. Following Jesus involves surrendering those desires to Him.
Verse: "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." —Matthew 5:5

This was an all-girl show today. The script that was written capitalized on the children’s interest. With that said we will have more audience interaction like we did today. The children seem to enjoy that part of the show.
Hopefully, we will be able to modify the theater so that the puppeteers are not in an uncomfortable position. They have to keep their heads down while performing. This makes it difficult to talk into the microphone and read the script at the same time.
I plan on adding frame-work which will support some curtain rods that will conceal the puppeteers but allow the audience to see the puppets. This will permit everyone behind the stage to sit in an upright and more comfortable position.
More importantly, we were blessed with a few more children in the audience. It’s not about puppets; it’s about Jesus and spreading the gospel to these children.

Thanks to Chuck Missler for sharing his insight into the nature of this Psalm as a dialog between the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Viewing the Psalm in this way has given me a whole new perspective on it and helped me to understand more about the nature of the Trinity. I thought I would share that insight with this video for anyone out there who might also find that interesting.
