Celtic Woman Chilling 'We Three Kings' Performance

The Christmas season is a time to celebrate the miracle of Christ’s birth and embrace the joy, wonder, and unity it brings. And nothing ushers in the season quite like our favorite Christmas songs. You’ll adore the Celtic Woman’s chilling ‘We Three Kings’ performance. The YouTube video of this song combines their ethereal voices, a stunning stage, and the deep reverence of the journey of the Magi. Is it just me, or is this one of their best performances? You be the judge!

As the first notes of the bagpipes fill the air, the stage transforms into a wonderland of red with silver lights. A majestic red Christmas tree is on the center stage, illuminated by lights that glow a deep, vibrant red. Against this beautiful stage, the three Celtic women walk out onto the stage in stunning white dresses with silver accents that take your breath away. It’s almost as if they look like stars shining in the heavenly night sky. They look and sound like heavenly angels.

‘We three kings of Orient are;

bearing gifts we traverse afar,

field and fountain, moor and mountain,

following yonder star’

Together, the singers carry the story of the Wisemen following the star to Bethlehem, and it’s almost as if you can feel what the Wisemen felt on their long journey to find the truth for themselves. They sang the lilting rhythm with grace and poise. You can’t help but feel as though Christ’s birth is right around the corner, promising us the peace and salvation we long for the whole world to feel.

We hope you enjoyed this beautiful and perhaps one of the best versions of Christmas songs. May it help usher your heart into the true reason for the season, Christ’s gift for us all.

Matthew 2:9-10 “After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.”

Awe-Inspiring ‘Trust In God’ Cover

Turn your attention to God and shed the burdens you’ve been carrying as you hear this awe-inspiring ‘Trust In God’ cover performed by First Baptist Church in Clarksville. Something powerful happened as the sanctuary lights dimmed and the song's first few chords filled the air. It wasn’t just a song to be sung; it was an invitation to lay down our worries, surrender our doubts, and stand on the unwavering truth that God never fails.

So often in life, we try to navigate all the ups and downs all on our own. If we can control life’s outcomes, our hearts will remain safe. But that’s not the truth. Just as the lyrics of this song remind us, “Jesus is mine. He’s been my fourth man in the fire, time after time.”

Can we pause here for a second? The song reminds us of the story of Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednago and the fiery furnace. They weren’t spared a life from the fires, but God was with them in it (Daniel 3:25). Isn’t that how God works? He doesn’t always take us around the fire or put out the flames, but He promises to walk us through it.

Trust In God also reminds us that God is the author of our life stories with the lyrics, “Perfect submission, all is at rest. I know the author of tomorrow has ordered my steps.” I don’t know about you, but I often wrestle with trying to figure it all out on my own. But then I remember that I needed to let go and trust in the true Author and Perfector of my life. God can see things we can’t see and His ways are higher than our ways. He’s always working things out for our good.

As you listen to this beautiful worship song, ask yourself where you need to trust Him today. What would it look like to stop striving and start resting in His promises? Let this song be a reminder God has never failed you, and He never will.

Psalm 9:10 “Those who know your name trust in you, for you Lord have never forsaken those who seek you.”

Stunning A Cappella Rendition of ‘Little Is Much When God Is In It’

There’s a timeless beauty that is captured when it comes to listening to old hymns. You’re in for a real treat as you listen to this stunning a cappella rendition of ‘Little Is Much When God Is In It’ by Dan Hefner. His version is a perfect example of why these old hymns are still relevant today. It’s the perfect example of worshiping the Lord and trusting in Him.

If you haven’t heard Dan before, you’ll love his unique approach to singing. Using his voice alone, he layers the harmonies and textures of the song to create a rich choral sound that feels like you’re listening to a big choir as they lead you in worship. His rendition of ‘Little Is Much When God Is In It’ captures God’s message: God doesn’t need grandeur to work miracles. God simply asks us to trust in Him, no matter how small our faith and efforts may seem. When we offer our gifts to God, no matter how modest, God multiplies them in ways we can’t imagine.

What I love most about the rendition of the song is Dan's passion for singing hymns a cappella. On his YouTube page, he wrote “My name is Dan Hefner. I am a Christian, husband and father, and music minister in my local church. I am blessed to have been reared in a godly, musical home, and I'm passionate about enriching others with Scriptural music. I pray that God will be glorified and you will be blessed by the music you find here!”

He launched his YouTube page in 2020 and has slowly gained a following since then with almost 7,000 fans. Perhaps as you listen to this incredible piece of music, you’ll become a fan too. Let the message of this song warm your heart, whatever you bring to God, no matter how small, it is enough for Him to do great things.

Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

The Detty Sisters’ Stunning Live ‘Holy Water’ Performance

The Detty sisters sang a stunning live performance of Holy Water, and it was more than just a performance, it was a call for each of us to lay down our burdens and run to Jesus. Don’t miss this beautiful performance.

‘God, I'm on my knees again

God, I'm begging please again

I need you

Oh, I need you’

There is something sacred about uttering the words, “Lord, I need you.” It’s as if we truly realize how much we need God, His presence, His wisdom, forgiveness, and His deep, boundless love. The song reminds us that as we walk down life’s desert roads, it can leave us feeling parched and weary. The world offers countless distractions and temporary band-aids but only God can ease the ache in our chest.

At one point during the song, the oldest sister encouraged those listening to remember what it was like the first time we felt God come into our lives. During the interlude, she said, “How many remembers the moment that he touched you and baptized you with his Holy Spirit and with water? The moment that he set me free, I’ve never been the same, hallelujah.”

God’s forgiveness is truly like honey, offering a sweet taste to our souls as we’re comforted by Christ’s love and set free for His purpose and plans. It’s a beautiful reminder that no matter what life throws at us, we can rest firmly in God’s hands. His love takes us to the riverside of His grace as He washes us with the Holy Water of His forgiveness. Through this beautiful performance by the Detty Sisters, we can lean into Jesus and thank Him for the ultimate gift of His sacrifice for us on the cross.

We hope you enjoyed this sweet ‘Holy Water’ performance by these lovely, Jesus-loving ladies.

John 7:37-38 "On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’"

Soul-Stirring Cover of Phil Wickham’s ‘This is Our God’

A praise and worship team turned in a soul-stirring cover of Phil Wickham’s “This is Our God.” This is a lovely cover of one of the most beloved and popular contemporary Christian songs. The video and the delightful performance deserve to be heard and watched multiple times.

Hymns will never be matched or bested. It’s simply not possible to do so, in my opinion. How could you ever come up with a better praise and worship tune than “How Great Thou Art,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness” or “Victory in Jesus?” There’s an easy answer to that question: It cannot be done. Oh, and let’s not forget the most iconic and beloved hymn of all time, “Amazing Grace.”

While hymns are still far and away the best choice for songs regarding church services, contemporary Christian music is still a formidable genre. Plenty of incredibly talented Christian musicians use their gift for sound to bring glory and honor to His name. Arguably, the most prominent and most talented contemporary Christian artist today is Phil Wickham. His tunes are widely heard on Christian radio and in houses of worship.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one praise and worship team performed Phil’s classic hit song, “This is Our God.” It’s a dazzling rendition of the song about our awesome, loving and mighty God that many have come to know and love.

While the performances in the short clip are noteworthy, the beautifully written lyrics are why people know and love this song. The words wonderfully and accurately tell of God’s love, grace, mercy and faithfulness. But as good as those lyrics are, they still fall short of adequately

describing something too great for words and human comprehension.

The Lord is better, more loving and faithful than we deserve. There is no reason for Him to offer His love and forgiveness to us freely, yet He does.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Brandon Lake 'Hard Fought Hallelujah' Official Music Video

Life is full of battles. Some are more visible to the world, while others remain hidden, waged silently in our hearts and minds. Brandon Lake’s ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’s official music video is a powerful anthem that speaks of our struggles and reminds us to celebrate the victories we claim in our loving Jesus–even when they feel hard-won.

‘I'll bring my hard-fought heartfelt

Been-through-hell hallelujah

I'll bring my storm-tossed, torn-sail

Story to tell, hallelujah’

We have no idea the battles others face. We can only draw on our own experiences. For some, they’re battling addiction, and every step towards sobriety is a victory. For others, they face health battles, like autoimmune diseases. It’s something that wages war on a daily basis. Sometimes, just making the bed is a hard-fought battle. For others, it’s raising kids, tight finances, or rocky relationships. Life may feel like a constant struggle to make it to the end of the day.

Yet, even in these moments, God reminds us of His faithfulness. And that’s one of the reasons I love Brandon’s song. It’s an anthem and reminds us that trusting in Him in the small victories–an unexpected gift, a nap, a paid bill, or a meal shared with gratitude becomes an act of worship, a hallelujah in the midst of hardship. Like Brandon sings, these hallelujahs may be born of struggle, but they are also born of grace. They are reminders God is with us in every battle.

We hope you enjoyed the performance of Hard Fought Hallelujah. It captures the heart of what it means to celebrate even the smallest of victories. It’s about praising God not just when the battle is over but while we’re still in the trenches. It’s about believing that every step forward is a moment of gaining more hope in Him.

THE ANSWER - Original song with my studio band from my CD "Jesus Paid The Price."

“Life School” began for me when I was ten years old. It was a day like any other day. I woke up, had breakfast, and got ready for the fourth grade. My mom made my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and put it in my lunchbox, while my dog Sam barked at me to take him for his morning walk. I remember telling my dad how excited I was that he’d be coming to my little league baseball game when he got home from work. I had gotten so much better since my opening game, when he watched me nervously step up to the plate, swing, and strike out! I looked forward to showing him how his practicing with me had helped me become a better baseball player. He grabbed his briefcase, kissed his wife and six kids goodbye, and went off to work. At around four o’clock the same day, I watched my mother answer the phone and begin to cry hysterically. With a look of pain and disbelief on her face, she said, “Daddy got in an accident. I have to go to the hospital. Please go outside and play with your friends.” When my mom got home, she took us all into the family room, and nervously prepared to tell us something. With life-changing grief pouring from her face, she said, “Daddy won’t be coming home anymore.” My father fell from a twelve-story parking garage building while walking to his car to return home to be with his family. No one will ever know, for sure, why and how it happened. It was a tragic accident, a life-changing mistake, which cost me and my dad the life we were meant to have together. I never got to say goodbye or show him my winning swing. As tears fell from my eyes, I began the childlike process of absorbing the impact of his fall. Later, as I stared into the bathroom mirror already fogged with my tears of pain, I cried out to God, “How could You have allowed this to happen to my dad? Why? Why! Why?” While crying myself to sleep that night, I hoped and prayed that when I woke up, it all would have been a dream. “There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief and unspeakable love.” — Washington Irving. Over fifty years have gone by since that life-changing day. Growing up without a father was not my choice, but how I handled it was!At a young and innocent age, I learned that unexpected pain and losses are a part of this great adventure called “My Life.” There are some things in life we can control, and many other situations we can’t. Life never turns out exactly how we imagined it would. That is when love, gratitude, forgiveness and a positive mental attitude make all the difference in your world. Life is not an event; it’s a day-to-day process. SOMETHING BETTER - Original song with studio band from my CD "Jesus Paid The Price"

THESE WORDS ARE FROM MY BOOK titled Creating Your Best Life Now and the song SOMETHING BETTER from my CD “JESUS PAID THE PRICE.” Bad things will occasionally happen to us. Just turn on the television, computer, or cell phone and see the next tragedy or hear about the awful things happening in the world. We are mentally and emotionally bombarded with outside influences such as family, friends, the internet, politics, social media, our jobs, the news, and countless other streams of influence. We fill our lives with stress-creating tasks, meetings, commitments, and deadlines. Stand guard at the door of your heart, mind, and soul, and don't let anything in that isn't for your highest good. Watch carefully what you allow to enter into your inner self; mentally and emotionally. Your diet is more than the food you eat. It also includes what you watch, listen to, read, and the people you associate with. Take responsibility for what you feed your soul, and don't let the spiritually and emotionally starving people, feed it for you! FOR YOU - Original song with studio band from my CD "FOR YOU"

THESE WORDS ARE FROM MY BOOK "Creating Your Best Life Now." One of the biggest mistakes you can make in life, is to think that you shouldn’t have any problems. Difficulties show us where we need to improve, and challenges reveal what we should change. The difference between a problem and an opportunity for self-improvement is your attitude toward it. Some of your most significant self-development will occur when facing a difficult challenge that motivates you into becoming a wiser, healthier, and better person. A person cannot be perfected without trials. A jewel can’t be polished without friction. When you long for a life without difficulties, remember that the mighty oak grows stronger in powerful winds, and precious diamonds are made under extreme pressure. The poor too often don't have enough food to help feed the hungry. The sick and poor in spirit, don't have the wellness to help others be healthy. So take care of yourself first, so you are able to help the weak become more powerful. We are all in the process of recovering from something. Be the master of your fate and not the victim of your past. Don’t allow your losses to become your bosses, your difficulties to become your identity, your failures to become what ails you, and your tragedies to become your personality. You can’t start a new chapter in life as long as you keep re-reading the same pages. Old keys will never unlock new doors. Use what you have learned from your history, to write yourself a new autobiography. Send A Message To My Maker

Where do all the good people go?

Genavieve Linkowski Chilling ‘All Hail King Jesus’ Cover

Genavieve Linkowski turned in a chilling cover of the popular and beloved song “All Hail King Jesus.” What an absolutely breathtaking rendition of this song. This is a clip that you will want to watch and listen to repeatedly.

Musicians singing and performing songs originally written and sung by someone else is a practice that has been going on for quite some time. Likely, it’s been happening in some form since humans started making sounds. There are even entire bands that are solely dedicated to performing the songs of others.

Covers are something that has been going on for a while, and they aren’t going to be disappearing any time soon. Thanks to the pervasive nature and the explosion of social media platforms, covers are arguably more popular now than ever. Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Instagram and TikTok are littered with videos of musicians covering others’ tunes.

In a clip posted on Instagram, contemporary Christian singer and former American Idol contestant Genavieve Linkowski performs “All Hail King Jesus.” The young woman fully displayed her immense musical talent in the short video. Her beautiful voice expertly belts out those lovely lyrics about the love and mighty power of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

The beloved praise and worship song may have a simple chorus, but it’s still incredibly powerful and contains much truth.

“All hail King Jesus

All hail the Lord of Heaven and Earth

All hail King Jesus

All hall the Savior of the world”

Genavieve routinely puts out short clips featuring herself performing a classic hymn or a popular contemporary Christian hit. But this one of her singing “All Hail King Jesus,” has to be one of her best. Not only does she sound terrific, showing off her lovely voice, but she does it easily, making it appear effortless.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Couple’s Inspiring ‘He Brought Me Out' Cover

With their inspiring cover of ‘He Brought Me Out,’ Dan and Amanda created a beautiful moment of worship as sunlight poured through the windows, casting a gentle glow across their music room. Seated together, Dan at the piano and Amanda with her guitar, the couple transformed their home into a space of reverence and gratitude.

The song ‘He Brought Me Out’ is an old hymn written in 1898 by Henry J Zelly. It is a timeless, beautiful song that draws people into worship with its words. Hymns like these are often rooted in personal stories of faith, loss, hope, and redemption. They carry a richness to the song that modern music sometimes lacks. They remind us of the enduring truths of the Gospel and why we follow the Lord. That’s what I love about Amanda and Dan. They take old hymns and breathe new life into them.

Sitting close together, the couple began to play with Dan’s fingers moving gently over the piano keys. His voice was filled with sincere gratitude as he sang alongside his wife. Amanda strummed the guitar and soon joined in, adding more depth to the music with her voice. When their voices met, they both carried a harmony that was full of thankfulness and strength.

‘He brought me out of the miry clay,

He set my feet on the Rock to stay;

He puts a song in my soul today,

A song of praise, hallelujah!’

As they moved to the end of the song, Dan and Amanda’s voices rose together as if they were lifting up the Gospel message and serving it to the hearts of those who would listen to their music as they sang, “He puts a song in my soul today. A song of praise, hallelujah.”

When the last of the notes faded they both smiled at each other as if they both knew they had worshipped the Lord through the song to the best of their abilities. Talk about a job well down! We hope you enjoyed this song as much as Dan and Amanda loved performing it.

Lamentations 3:22-23  “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Nothing But the Blood of Jesus' Heartfelt Duet Cover

Two people delivered an emotional and heartfelt duet cover of the beloved hymn “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.” This particular cover of this familiar tune is one that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly. It will touch your heart and likely even move you to tears.

Hymns are lovely and beautiful pieces of praise and worship music that honor and glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Sadly, people and many houses of worship have moved away from hymns. Instead, churches have opted to fill the praise and worship portion of their Sunday morning services with contemporary Christian songs.

That genre of music is excellent, and there are some genuinely talented and fantastic contemporary Christian music artists. However, no contemporary Christian song will ever top a hymn. Sure, hymns are old—hundreds of years in some cases—but they are still as powerful, moving and relevant today as when they were first written.

Suppose you’re looking for evidence of hymns' continued relevance and power. In that case, this clip posted on YouTube provides plenty. Gary Talley and his mother, Nita Talley, perform “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.” Gary plays the guitar and joins with his mother as they sing about the power of Christ’s blood spilled on the cross for sinners together.

“What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus

What can make me whole again?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus”

In the first verse—four short and succinct lines—that hymn summarizes the Gospel and Jesus Christ’s entire reason for coming to Earth and dying on the cross. He came to rescue sinners and offer hope, love and forgiveness. The only way forgiveness can be obtained is through repentance and confession of sin, which was made possible through His death and resurrection.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
