Savana Adams | 'Hear My Heart' (acoustic)

Western Kentucky-based singer-songwriter Savana Adams gave us a powerful, heartfelt performance of her brand-new single 'Hear My Heart'—filmed live at the GodTube Music Studio in Nashville. After rededicating her life to Jesus in 2023, Savana began using her gift of music to share the songs God placed on her heart. Every lyric, every note is meant to praise, honor, and glorify the Lord. 🙌

Couple’s Powerful Rendition of ‘Blessed Assurance’

A couple delivered a powerful rendition of “Blessed Assurance.” The beloved hymn's performance was chilling and moving, certainly worthy of being listened to multiple times. Watch the short clip of the couple’s soul-stirring performance of “Blessed Assurance.”

Contemporary Christian music will never top the old church hymns. That’s probably a controversial, polarizing statement, with many people likely to vehemently disagree with that conclusion. Yes, many churches have started to move away from the hymns. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that just happens to be mine.

To be clear, there are many fantastic modern contemporary songs from some truly talented artists. However, you cannot say with a straight face that any praise and worship song will ever top “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “How Great Thou Art,” “How Firm a Foundation” or “Amazing Grace.” Those are classics and forever will be, regardless of how old they may be.

Another hymn that will never get old, no matter how many times you have heard it, is “Blessed Assurance.” In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple performs this excellent rendition of the iconic, beloved old church hymn. You’ll likely find yourself singing right along with them.

“This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long”

That familiar, beautifully written tune is about the certainty we can have in Jesus Christ. We can know beyond the shadow of a doubt that we have been forgiven and that heaven is our destination when our time on this Earth is over. That assurance is yet another blessing that comes from being a follower of Jesus Christ. His love and blessings know no bounds. Praise His name!

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Children's Choir Wows with Soul-Stirring ‘Amazing Love’ Rendition

A children’s choir wows with its soul-stirring rendition of “Amazing Love.” The talented young voices sing the popular praise and worship tune. Watch the short clip to hear and see the gifted youngsters performing “Amazing Love.”

None of us would have a chance if it weren’t for Christ’s love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. We’d all still be lost, living in our sin and shame. We’d all be staring down an eternity separated from Him. There would be no future and certainly no hope for anyone.

But because God loved us so much, He sent His only Son to bridge and repair the divide sin caused between Him and man. Christ went to the cross, enduring excruciating pain and experiencing a wholly undeserved death on our behalf. His death and bloodshed on Calvary fulfilled a debt that we could never repay. He made the ultimate sacrifice for you and me, laying down His life. It was a demonstration of His amazing, incredible love for each one.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Powerhouse Kidz Choir sings about Christ’s awe-inspiring and amazing love. “Amazing Love” is a song that is likely well-known by many, but that familiarity does not diminish the song’s beautiful message and lyrics in the slightest.

“I’m forgiven because You were forsaken
I’m accepted; You were condemned
And I’m alive and well, Your Spirit is within me
Because You died and rose again”

That powerful chorus will likely cause many to become emotional, even those who typically don’t get teary-eyed or show much emotion.

But the best thing about that song is that amazing love, grace and forgiveness are still available to everyone today. Christ offers forgiveness and love to all who would call upon His name and confess their sins, and as the Bible says, He is faithful to forgive.

1 John 1:9 “If we say openly that we have done wrong, he is upright and true to his word, giving us forgiveness of sins and making us clean from all evil.”

Country Stars Sing ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’ at Grand Ole Opry

There are moments that take your breath away, and what happened recently at the Grand Ole Opry was one of them. If you watched the music festival unfold, you know exactly what I’m talking about when all the country stars sang, ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’ at the Grand Ole Opry.

This isn’t just any song. It’s a hymn that speaks to the heart about God’s love that’s eternal. I mean, imagine — there you are, sitting at home, watching this incredible group of artists, some of the biggest names in country music, singing a song praises God, on national television no less.

It’s something special when the likes of Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and Reba McEntire aren’t just there to entertain us, but to worship with us. And that’s exactly what we saw. Each artist brought their own unique flavor to the song, but they were all united in the same goal: to lift up Jesus.

I’ve always believed that music has a way of connecting us to something bigger in the Lord. But there’s something particularly powerful about watching a group of people, so many of whom we admire for their musical talent, as they came together to declare the greatness of God. To see Jesus lifted up, sung about, and praised — on stage, on TV, in front of millions — is a beautiful thing. There’s nothing quite like it.

And then, when you think about the history of the Opry — the legacy it holds — you realize just how significant it is to have a song like this sung there.  The Opry stage is where country music’s greatest legends have stood, and that night, those same legends, alongside newer stars, were united in their worship.

I loved this upbeat version. For me, the real magic of that night wasn’t in the perfect harmonies or flawless performances. It was in the worship. It was at that moment when everyone in the room — and everyone watching from home — could feel the presence of God. There’s a connection that happens when we worship together, and it was felt in every note of that song.

“Will the circle be unbroken?” It’s a question with such deep meaning, and the answer is yes, yes it will. And when we all come together to worship, we help make sure that circle remains unbroken, a circle that reaches from one generation to the next, uniting us all in faith.

So, thank you to the Grand Ole Opry for reminding us of this truth. Thank you for making us feel something bigger than ourselves. That night was more than just a concert. It was worship. And I don’t know about you, but I was grateful to watch it.

Psalm 95:1-3 "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods."

Chilling A Cappella Rendition of ‘Gentle Savior’ Wows

Have you listened to a chilling a cappella rendition of ‘Gentle Savior?’ It wows! Some songs don’t just wash over you—they reach deep, pressing into places only the Spirit knows. And when Sam Robson sings, it’s as if heaven itself bends low to listen.

His latest a cappella rendition of ‘Gentle Savior’ isn’t just music. It’s worship. It’s art. It’s the kind of sound that wraps around the soul like a sacred hush—the kind that makes you close your eyes because some moments aren’t meant to be seen, only felt.

Sam, the South London-born vocal virtuoso, weaves layer upon layer of harmonies, breaking the song into four different tones, stacking them like stained glass—each piece stunning on its own but breathtaking when seen as a whole. The result? A chilling hymn that sounds like a cathedral of voices, though it’s just one man pouring his heart into a song that has clearly shaped him.

And isn’t that what the best music does? It shapes us. It leads us home.

Sam himself says the song grew on him over time—an arrangement created years ago, left sitting in his collection until it called him back. And how right he was to answer. His voice, rich with depth, carries the weight of every lyric like a prayer.

And isn’t that life? So many of us are standing at the crossroads, hands trembling, hearts uncertain. But then that chorus rises like a gentle wind, reminding us who we follow:

"Gentle Savior, lead me on… Hold me close and keep me safe."

The comment section became a place of worship in its own right. One listener, overwhelmed by the raw beauty of Sam’s arrangement, wrote, "Sam Robson covering David Phelps? Oh my word, please do more of his stuff!"

Another turned his song into a personal prayer, "Lead me, Jesus! Show a rebel like me how to do Your will! Continue to extinguish my vain worldly desires. Strengthen my trust in You, Lord! May it be so."

And yet another simply declared, "All praise to the Lord and the gifts He gives us. All the glory goes to God."

Because that’s what happens when music is more than sound—it becomes a sanctuary.

I can’t begin to imagine the time, the talent, the unseen hours poured into making this one video. But perhaps that’s the beauty of worship—it’s not about being seen. It’s about offering something holy in the secret place, trusting that God will take it and make it more than we ever could.

And that’s exactly what Sam has done.

A voice lifted. A song restored. A Savior glorified.

Gentle Savior, lead us on.

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’" Isaiah 30:21

Youngsters Melt Hearts with Adorable ‘Goodness of God’ Rendition

Youngsters melt hearts with their adorable rendition of “Goodness of God.” The pair showed off their musical ability while singing one of the most popular and beloved praise and worship tunes. Watch the short but precious video to see and hear the little ones perform “Goodness of God.”

Contemporary Christian music has become incredibly popular. Many churches have abandoned those old hymns in response to that growing popularity. Instead, houses of worship use those new tunes to fill the praise and worship portion of their Sunday morning services. This trend is not likely to change anytime soon, either. Sure, some may sprinkle a hymn in here and there, but contemporary Christian songs are the music of choice for the most part.

In contemporary Christian music, arguably, no song is more beloved than “Goodness of God.” Even if you don’t particularly enjoy contemporary Christian music, you still likely know this song.  In addition to being widely performed in churches, there are tons of covers and versions of the song, which are easily found on places like YouTube and Spotify.

In a clip posted on YouTube by CeCe Winans, two youngsters take their turn covering “Goodness of God.” It’s likely to be one of the sweetest and most precious versions of the song you’ll hear or see.

The video is so adorable! As they sing the memorable lyrics, they both hold their hands up in praise. However, in the opening moments of the clip, the young woman gives the little guy some quick but much-needed direction.

She is all into the performance, but he is quietly standing near her. She quickly diverts from the song to tell him, “Keep on singing.”  That’s how you know the children are likely siblings. Once she gives him those directions, he joins her, singing the song and holding his hands up in praise.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
