This Street Performer’s 'Landslide' Cover Is a Must-Listen

This street performer’s cover of “Landslide” is a must-listen. Her excellent rendition of the beloved Fleetwood Mac classic is one you’ll likely find yourself returning to again and again. Watch the short but delightful clip to listen to her jaw-dropping performance of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.”

The entertainment business is not an easy field to break into. It’s highly competitive and cutthroat, as evidenced by shows like American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The Voice. Look at all the people who audition for those shows, and, at the end, only one person each season wins the top prize.

So, understanding this, many will take different routes and adopt less conventional ways to try to gain attention. For instance, musicians often play on the street, hoping to draw crowds and pique the interest of the many people who walk by. Of course, this all depends on whether they have the kind of musical talent that stops people in their tracks and gets them to take notice. Again, it’s one of the many ways of attempting to build an audience and a following.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young woman performed on the street for all to hear.  But she wasn’t just singing any old song; she was performing one of the biggest, most recognizable tunes of all time: “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. And to be honest, she knocked it out of the park. Her voice is absolutely beautiful, with its unique, distinctive quality giving the song an Irish sound and feel.

It's unbelievable how anyone could have simply walked on by when she was standing on the side of the street singing. Her voice sounds like someone who could go into the studio and make an Irish/folk record right now. Her voice is unbelievably good, and it’s hard, nearly impossible, to argue otherwise.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

This Excellent Bob Dylan Cover Gets 4-Chair Turn on The Voice

This excellent Bob Dylan cover received a four-chair turn on The Voice. All four coaches loved this young man’s performance of a Bob Dylan classic, so they flipped their chairs around for him. Watch the short but immensely enjoyable clip to listen to this jaw-dropping rendition of a Bob Dylan tune.

Bob Dylan is, without a doubt, one of the best, most talented songwriters of all time. There is simply no point in arguing otherwise. His timeless tunes are endlessly covered and recorded by some of the biggest names in music. Additionally, his songs are constantly heard on the radio, in movies and on TV.

While there is no debate about Bob Dylan’s ability to write memorable, iconic songs, his voice is a whole other matter. His voice is incredibly polarizing. Some people love his unique, very distinct voice, while others cannot stand it, likely comparing it to nails on a chalkboard. Whatever your thoughts and feelings about Bob Dylan, his massive influence on music is undeniable.

In fact, his music is still being heard and performed by the younger generation. In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man literally turned heads (and chairs) when he performed Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright.” After a few moments of listening to the performance, it’s clear why some of the biggest names in music flipped their chairs for the young musician. It was fantastic!

His performance of the song that is near and dear to the hearts of many is so smooth, crisp and clear. Even the most diehard Dylan fans will have a hard time finding something to complain about with this performance. His beautiful guitar playing and voice are everything you want to hear in a folk song.

All four judges gave him their best pitches, but in the end, he selected Boy George as his coach, saying that he and the “Karma Chameleon” singer view Bob Dylan similarly when it comes to his songwriting.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

American Idol Contestant Wows with Aretha Franklin's 'Natural Woman'

This American Idol contestant wows with Aretha Franklin's “Natural Woman.” It sounds completely organic coming from talented young artist, Rae. Play the video to hear her beautiful voice.

Rae can absolutely sing. She demonstrates that to the fullest in her "Natural Woman" American Idol cover. She completely impresses the judges with her strong and powerful vibrato. And even though I’m watching her through a screen, I don’t have to be there to know that her voice fills the whole room.

I’m certain Aretha Franklin would feel proud to hear this beautiful young woman’s cover of her song. Some of the lyrics of Aretha’s “Natural Woman” are:

Now I'm no longer doubtful of what I'm living for
And if I make you happy, I don't need to do more
'Cause you make me feel, you make me feel
You make me feel like a natural woman (Woman)

“Natural Woman” was co-written by Carole King and her husband Gerry Goffin in 1967. It was always created with Aretha in mind to sing. It was one of Aretha’s greatest songs, and it hit No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that year. Producer Jerry Wexler was the one who presented the song to Aretha.

Aretha recalled, “When we would record, when we would think we would have something really hot that evening, after we’d been in the studio maybe four or five hours, he would say, ‘Wait until tomorrow and let’s see what we think about it tomorrow. If it stands up tomorrow, we’ve got a hit.’ I said, ‘Jerry, this song has been standing up.’”

Even half a century after the song came out, people still love it. It’s wonderful that a young person like Rae would choose to cover it. Her "Natural Woman" American Idol cover is certainly one to remember.

Glen Campbell Performs His Classic 'Rhinestone Cowboy'

Come take a trip back to 1975 when Glen Campbell performed his classic “Rhinestone Cowboy.” The nostalgic performance will have you reminiscing and tapping your foot. Give it a listen and sing along.

Isn’t it nice to get a little blast from the past every now and then? Glen Campbell’s "Rhinestone Cowboy" is one of those old songs with wonderful lyrics that no one can forget. Even in 2026, it still impresses. Some of the lyrics to “Rhinestone Cowboy” are:

There'll be a load of compromisin' n the road to my horizon
But I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on me
Like a rhinestone cowboy
Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo

It may surprise you to find out that Glen actually didn’t write “Rhinestone Cowboy,” even though he sings it with such ownership and charisma. It was originally written and recorded by Larry Weiss.

Glen had heard the song while he was on tour overseas, and listened to it over and over. He told one of the people at his label, Al Khoury, he’d found the perfect song to record. Al told him he did, too. They both were thinking of the same song: “Rhinestone Cowboy.”

Larry had gotten inspiration when he heard the phrase “rhinestone cowboy” in a conversation.

"I heard the phrase and thought, 'Boy, I like that title'. I put my own meaning to it and wrote the song. I'll always be a kid at heart, and 'Rhinestone Cowboy' was sort of a summation of all my childhood cowboy movie heroes - particularly Hopalong Cassidy,” he said

It became Glen’s favorite song he had ever sung–his signature song.

Glen Campbell’s "Rhinestone Cowboy" is one of those songs that will always sound best when he sang it. He related deeply with the lyrics, and he’ll always be the true Rhinestone Cowboy.

Teacher’s Powerhouse 'Stand By Me' American Idol Performance

A schoolteacher gave a powerhouse performance of “Stand by Me” on American Idol. The educator wowed all three of the show’s judges and had the studio audience in a frenzy with his show-stopping rendition of the classic tune. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to see and hear this teacher beautifully belt out “Stand by Me.”

Every year, hundreds, if not thousands, of people audition for American Idol. All those aspiring musicians believe they have what it takes to be the next winner of the beloved, long-running program. Sadly, many are sent home, never making it through the initial audition portion of the show.

However, those who do make it onto the show and beyond typically possess out-of-this-world talent. It then becomes the judges’ responsibility to whittle down the numbers before America ultimately selects the show's winner. But that is a tall task for both the judges and the audience. With so much talent, how can you be entirely sure you made the right decision? Should he have gone home, or should it have been her?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Daniel Stallworth put his musical talent on full display for all to witness. The elementary music teacher performed a rendition of “Stand by Me.” His rendition of the song we all know and love was outstanding and, in the end, earned him a standing ovation from the studio audience. All three of the show’s judges – Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan – were also on their feet, showing their love and appreciation for what they just heard.

Yes, “Stand by Me” is a song we’ve heard hundreds of times, making Daniel’s accomplishment even more impressive. He brought something new to a tune everyone is more than familiar with and gave everyone a reason to get up on their feet and applaud his excellent performance.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

This Bob Marley Cover Blew the Coaches Away on The Voice

This Bob Marley cover blew the Coaches away on The Voice The Blind Auditions. Andrés Iwasaki’s voice is so smooth and sweet, you can’t help but fall in love. Play the video to hear his incredible talent.

Andrés absolutely shines on The Voice Blind Auditions. His cover of “Is This Love” is so soft and lovely. It’s one of those voices that swims around you and envelops you in its sound.

Andrés expertly chose to cover the song in a way that’s well-suited to his voice. It actually doesn’t sound anything like Bob Marley’s original. Andrés completely makes it own with his own piano twist.

“Is This Love” by Bob Marley

“Is This Love” was written in 1978 by Bob for his album, Kaya. Some of its lyrics are:

I wanna love you, I wanna love and treat, love and treat you right
I wanna love you every day and every night
We'll be together, yeah, with a roof right over our heads
We'll share the shelter, yeah, oh-yeah, of my single bed

The song was written during a period of high political tension. Marley helped by bringing people together. His songs about love and unity, particularly this song, helped unite people and break down barriers. It wasn’t just a love song; it was a song about a human feeling we all feel, no matter what color we are or what our background is.

Andrés' cover on The Voice Blind Auditions is a wonderful ode to Bob Marley. The young musician enhances the song, taking it in a more romantic direction while keeping Bob’s tender lyrics intact.

His performance feels very intimate and heartfelt. He has great vocal control and a unique singing quality. He draws you in from the very first note, and it’s easy to see why he impressed the four judges on the show.

The Isaacs Cover The Judds' Classic 'Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Ole Days)'

The Isaacs cover The Judds' Classic “Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Ole Days)” in their good ole country way, and it is as great as it can be. The group is in complete unison as they perform. Play the video to catch a glimpse for yourself.

The Isaacs, a family band, really know how to pick a song. They say that good country songs all tell a story, and this one certainly does. This isn’t one of those perky songs that gets your foot tapping, but it makes you think and reflect.

Some of the Judds’ striking lyrics, the Isaacs sing in their "Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Ole Days)" cover are:

Did lovers really fall in love to stay
Stand beside each other come what may?
Was a promise really something people kept?
Not just something they would say and then forget

The song is about the old values that a lot more people had in the past than they do today. The singer is eager to dream of what the good old days looked like, before moral lines were blurred and people lost faith.

The Isaacs look thoughtful and solemn-faced as they perform, aware of the graveness of what they’re singing. As they sing, their audience also looks reflective; some are even teary-eyed.

When Naomi and Wynonna Judd wrote the song, Wynonna Judd had just lost her father, and Naomi had just lost her grandfather. Knowing that makes the song all the more emotional.

Their producer, Brent Maher, said, “To hear 'Grandpa' and not like it, you've got to have a stone for a heart. It just hit me so hard, and I met with the girls a couple days later, and I played it for them. Wynonna got these big ol' blurry tears in her eyes, and we knew pretty much well off that was gonna be a strong song for them."

The Isaacs do The Judds justice in their beautiful "Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Ole Days)" cover.

The '80s Classic 'Forever Young' Gets Stunning New Cover

Check out this stunning cover of the ‘80s classic ‘Forever Young.’ The group performing in the video is IMY2, an independent rock band formed in 2019. The talented group is currently based in Nashville, TN, and the members include Annalise Mahanes, Cal Tucker, and Michael Monahan.

‘Let's dance in style, let's dance for a while
Heaven can wait, we're only watching the skies
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst
Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?’

What an incredible rendition of this classic ‘80s song by the band Alphaville. ‘Forever Young’ was originally released in September 1984 as the third single from Alphaville’s debut album.
The song was successful in Scandinavia and in the European German-speaking countries in 1984. Then in 1988, the song peaked at number 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

‘Forever Young’ was originally intended to be an upbeat dance song, but producer Andreas Budde recommended pairing the song down to a sparse synth-pop ballad. Once Alphaville stripped away most of the tracks and left only the vocals and synth, they came to the final song which we know and love today.

As for the group IMY2, they are well-known for their YouTube channel, where they share both original music and high-quality covers of classic rock and pop songs. They did a fantastic job with their cover of ‘Forever Young,’ and many people online have shared their praise for the group’s music.

“Annalise, Mike, and Cal provide us with another taste of their magic. Thank you IMY2 for one more outstanding performance,” comments one person online after watching the video.

“That sent shivers down my spine and then Mike's guitar gave me goose bumps. Lovely version,” writes another person.

We hope you enjoyed listening to this wonderful rendition from IMY2 of ‘Forever Young’ today!

Switchfoot’s Cover of Ben Rector's 'Brand New' is a Must-Listen

Switchfoot’s cover of Ben Rector’s “Brand New” is a must-listen. This terrific rendition of the incredibly popular and beloved tune is one that you’ll find yourself returning to again and again. Watch the short but delightful clip to see and listen to Switchfoot perform Ben Rector’s “Brand New.”

Covers are an age-old tradition, a norm that has likely been around as long as music has existed. It’s a practice that nearly every musician and band does at some point during their career, often something they do semi-frequently. Also, the contestants on shows like America’s Got Talent, The Voice and American Idol are quite fond of covers. Nearly every musical performance on those popular programs is one.

However, if you are going to do a cover, don’t simply do a duplicate, a carbon copy of the original. Change it in some way or form. People want to hear something different. Who doesn’t want to hear someone else’s interpretation of a classic song every now and then?  If that doesn’t happen, listeners will simply tune that version out and listen to the original.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Switchfoot, an incredibly popular band best known for their 2003 hit “Meant to Live,” showed they aren’t above doing covers either. They performed “Brand New,” the 2015 Ben Rector tune.

Switchfoot’s stripped-down version of “Brand New” is an immensely enjoyable listen. Their take on the song gives it a completely different sound and feel. However, much like the original, this one is still something that is bound to get you singing along and tapping your foot.

It's impossible to listen to this song – Switchfoot’s cover or Ben Rector’s original – and not feel better afterward. It’s one of those tunes that if you hear once, you’ll be humming and singing it the rest of the day. It’s that infectious, and if you aren’t familiar with the original version, I suggest you give it a listen or two or three, similar to Switchfoot's cover.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

These Sam's Club Shoppers Groove to 'What a Fool Believes'

These Sam’s Club shoppers grooved to “What a Fool Believes.” They showed off their surprisingly smooth moves while listening to the classic Doobie Brothers’ tune. Watch the short but delightful clip to see this big-box retail location become a dance party.

Dancing, at least for many people, seems to be a skill, an ability, you’re either born with or you’re not. Yes, like anything else, dancing is something that, through hard work and practice, you can become significantly better at doing. But even after all that investment of time and hard work, it’s possible to still just be a passable dancer.

When it comes down to it, dancing is simply about feeling the music and letting your body respond accordingly. Hopefully, whenever you’re in this position, when you find yourself out on a dance floor, your body does not betray you, making for a painful and unwatchable display for everyone within the vicinity. It’s for that very reason that I make it a point to avoid dance floors. No one deserves to be subjected to that, trust me.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, several Sam’s Club shoppers apparently know exactly what they are doing and how to respond when the moment hits them. A handful of people demonstrated their fancy footwork while listening to the 1970s classic rock song. Not only could they all dance, but they were all having a good time doing it. I’m sure that made their shopping trip much better.

I can say that, without a doubt, if someone were to approach me, whether it’s in a Sam’s Club, a Target, a Costco or any other retail store or anywhere else for that matter, I would not be able to do even half of what these people did. Oh, I could try, but again, that’s nothing anyone should ever witness.

Psalm 149:3 “Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.”

Awe-Inspiring Duet Cover of ‘You Are the Sunshine of My Life’

UK Street performers Leire and Atticus Blue amaze in their newest cover. Their awe-inspiring duet cover of “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” has passersby captivated. Give it a listen to fall into the sweet melody.

The two singers sound marvelous together. They have got tons of style and personality, and you can hear their passion for the song in their voices. They bring a little bit of majesty and magic to their cobblestoned street.

They completely make the Stevie Wonder classic their own, as well. They’ve got a knack for drawing people in.

Lyrics to “You Are the Sunshine of My Life”:

Ohh, you are the sunshine of my life, yeah
That's why I'll always stay around – mm-mmm, yeah-yeah
You are the apple of my eye (Love has joined us...)
Forever, you'll stay in my heart (Let's love sweet love)

The 1973 song was Stevie’s third No.1 hit in the US. It also won Stevie the 1973 Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

He wrote the song about his wife, Syreeta Wright. It was impromptu, and once he and his band joined in, Stevie said they would record it that day. He knew from the start it was special.

Leire and Atticus are smart to sing the song together, as it is an incredibly romantic song that people associate with love and couples. Their voices blend effortlessly when they harmonize. Leire’s strength and depth perfectly balance Atticus’ light and weavy voice.

Strangers stop in their tracks to see and hear them perform, and I would too. There’s a palpable intimacy in their performance that invites people in. It’s intriguing.

Once you hear them together, it turns a common moment into something memorable, and there’s a kind of power in that. It is practically unforgettable.

This Fantastic Cover of 'September' Is a Toe-Tapping Good Time

This fantastic cover of “September” is a toe-tapping good time, for sure. From the vocals to the sax and other instruments, it’s an incredibly lively cover. Play the video to dance along!

The lead for this Sing it Live cover, Darren Mullen, has a wonderful voice that matches Earth, Wind & Fire's. It’s wonderful to see everyone in the Australian band putting their all into their performance, too. They’ve got a base, drums, keyboard, electric guitar, trumpet, saxophone, and three people on vocals.

The backup singers even have some choreography going on in the background as they sing. Everyone’s got a smile on their face, and you can tell that they all love performing.

Some of Earth, Wind, and Fire’s “September” Lyrics are:

Do you remember
The twenty-first night of September?
Love was changin' the minds of pretenders
While chasin' the clouds away

It’s such a fun song that everyone knows. It was created out of pure creativity and joy.

Earth, Wind, and Fire’s Al McKay recalled the day he came up with the beat: “It was one of those mornings. I came downstairs feeling really good. (I) went to my studio, set up a groove, and it just came piece by piece by piece.”

“I brought it to Maurice [White], and he liked it right away. Then he said, ‘Play it again.’ And I kept playing it for him. The last time, he looked at me and he sang, ‘Do you remember …’”

September Was Inducted into the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress

In 2020, the song was inducted into the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. It was made an aural treasure because of its cultural, historic and aesthetic importance to America’s musical heritage.

The song has made history for making magic out of the month of September, and it’s hard not to love the song after you’ve heard it once. Sing it Live has yet again chosen another stellar song to cover.

Darius Rucker is a well-known musical artist who got his start in his home state of South Carolina with Hootie & the Blowfish, later becoming an established Country Artist. He was the first African American to win the CMA New Artist of the Year. Witnessing this video will lift your spirit.

The Chorus Sings:

Once I get you up there where the air is so rarified
We gonna glide absolutely starry eyed
Once I get you up there I'll be holding you so very near
You might even hear again the angels cheer because we're together

When we ponder flying and the journey, it can remind us that God takes us to places that we would have never imagined He would. We can always dream with Him.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

This Unexpected Store Performance of 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' Is Fantastic

Every now and then, joy breaks out where no one expects it — between grocery aisles, under fluorescent lights, in the middle of an ordinary workday that feels a little too quiet. And then suddenly… music begins. This unexpected store performance of ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ is fantastic.

Little Maya Portella walks toward a man gently tinkering at a piano tucked inside a busy store. There’s a shy boldness about her, the kind only children seem to carry — as if the world is still full of possibility waiting to be touched. She asks to play along, and within moments, her small hands find the keys like they were made for this very song.

At first, shoppers pause only briefly, curiosity flickering across their faces. Carts slow. Conversations soften. Something in the air shifts as Maya begins to play note for note, her confidence growing with every chord. Then another surprise unfolds.

An onlooker steps forward from the crowd and begins to sing, their voice rising above the hum of the store. Heads turn. Smiles spread. And just like that, strangers become an audience — drawn into a moment none of them planned but all of them needed.

More voices join. The music swells. What began as a quiet exchange at a piano becomes a full burst of song, laughter, and delight. People lean over railings, gather at the edges, and clap along as the familiar rhythm of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” fills the space with something brighter than routine.

It feels like the world pauses long enough to breathe.

There’s something delightfully fun and sacred about unexpected music — how it slips into heavy days and reminds us that joy is still alive, still waiting for a place to land. In the middle of errands and deadlines, a little girl’s courage becomes a spark that turns strangers into a choir and an ordinary store into a stage.

And maybe that’s why moments like this linger long after the last note fades.

Because sometimes what we need most isn’t another task crossed off the list — it’s a reminder that beauty can interrupt us, that laughter can echo where stress once lived, and that a single brave step toward a piano can turn an entire crowd into a celebration.

If you’re anything like me, a burst of music in the middle of the day feels like a small miracle — the kind that lifts your shoulders, softens your heart, and whispers that joy is never as far away as we think.

“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” Psalm 96:1

Allie Sherlock’s Powerful Take on Gloria Gaynor Classic ‘I Will Survive’

Allie Sherlock’s powerful take on Gloria Gaynor's classic “I Will Survive” will leave you impressed. It’s a wonderful version of Gloria’s classic song. You’ll want to tap your feet or sing along as you listen.

In her new YouTube video, young Allie sings on a breezy day on the coast with singer Fabio Rodrigues beside her. A dock full of boats sits behind her. “I Will Survive” isn’t the song you’d picture for this kind of setting, but it’s got everybody grooving nonetheless.

As she sings, she draws in a crowd of listeners who sway to the lively beat. Allie’s got the perfect voice for this song. Some of the lyrics to “I Will Survive” are

Did you think I'd crumble?
Did you think I'd lay down and die?
Oh, no, not I, I will survive

Gloria’s song is a powerful ballad about moving on after a breakup. Gloria didn’t write the song herself, but she loved it.

She once said, "I love the empowering effect, I love the encouraging effect. It's a timeless lyric that addresses a timeless concern." Since before the song was even released and throughout her life, she’s used the song to motivate her–whether it be a detrimental back injury or a tough divorce.

When the song came out in 1979, it became an immediate number one hit in the UK and the US. It won a Grammy for Best Disco Recording, too.

Later, after the song, released, Gloria added some lyrics that represent her faith:

I will survive
He gave me life
I stand beside the Crucified One
I can go on
I will be strong
For my strength to live is not my own
I will survive!

It is a beautiful song about perseverance. And no matter who sings it, Gloria, Allie, Fabio, or others, it is wonderful to hear.

Soulful Rendition of Elton John Classic Wows Judges on The Voice

A soulful rendition of an Elton John classic wowed the judges on The Voice. This young man’s performance of a beloved tune left the judges stunned and battling one another to add him to their team. Watch the short but delightful clip to hear the talented young musician’s rendition of Elton John’s “Bennie and the Jets.”

Everyone wants to be a musician, a singer, up on stage playing in front of and entertaining a roaring, cheering crowd of adoring fans. Of course, while that may be the dream for many, not everyone has the talent to make that a reality. Shows like American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The Voice make that abundantly clear. Some get through the audition phase, but many more do not and are sent home empty-handed.

However, while talent is most definitely a prerequisite for making it past the audition stage, those aspiring musicians must have something more. There has to be something present, something they have or do that sets them apart from the rest of the crowd. Oftentimes, that something different is how they perform and change up a timeless tune, a song that everyone knows and loves. That is precisely what happened in the case of one young man who appeared on The Voice.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Lucas West went on The Voice and performed Elton John’s 1973 hit “Bennie and the Jets.” But instead of doing a simple cover, a boring, carbon copy replica of the original, he did something entirely different.

He took the familiar tune into a jazzy direction. It was still the same song, but with a slightly different sound, and it paid off greatly for him. Moments into his performance, Adam Levine and John Legend flipped their chairs around for the young man.

Adam and John went back and forth, stating why they would be the best coach for him. Eventually, the 20-year-old selected John Legend as his coach.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Stunning Cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘Here You Come Again’ Performed on the Street

English street busker Leire is back with another song. Her stunning cover of Dolly Parton’s “Here You Come Again” performed on the street will lift your spirits. Play the video to hear the unique and bright song cover.

Leire starts off her song on what looks to be a busy and cold morning on a London street corner. As she stands with her guitar in hand with her mic hooked up, her rich voice completely fills the street.

Her cover is much different than Dolly’s original song, but it’s still bright and shiny. Though it doesn’t sound much like Dolly’s peppy piano version, I think she’d be proud to hear Leire sing her song. The young woman has a magical charm to her voice that draws people in.

People line up on the cobblestones just to hear her voice and see her perform. She’s a wonder to behold. Some of the song’s lyrics she sings are:

Just when I'm about to make it work without you
You look into my eyes
And lie those pretty lies
And pretty soon I'm wondering' how I came to doubt you

The 1977 hit is one of Parton’s only songs that she didn’t write herself, but it’s the first single of hers to sell over 1 million copies. It was written by Cynthia Weil and Gary Klein.

“Gary Klein, I think, was producing Dolly Parton, and he heard it, and he loved it. Dolly, who was so gracious and adorable thanks us every time she sees us, for the song,” Cynthia said

“At the time, she felt it might be a little too slick and might cost her some of her country fans,” she continued. “But she was talked into doing it and now she’s thrilled that she did.”

And the world is, too! It’s a beautiful song

Jim Croce Flawless ‘You Don’t Mess with Jim’ Performance

Jim Croce turned in a flawless “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim” performance. This dazzling, immensely enjoyable clip of the late singer-songwriter performing arguably his most iconic, memorable tune is one you’ll find yourself returning to over and over again. Watch the short but delightful video to see and listen to Jim perform “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim.”

Songwriting is an undervalued and underestimated talent. When it comes to the musical arts, everyone wants to be on stage belting out lyrics, shredding on the guitar or banging around on the drums. And those desires and aspirations are all well and good, but if the lyrics and notes weren’t first written down, there would be nothing for anyone else to do.

It all starts with the songwriters, and within the last couple of decades, there have likely been no more recognizable and iconic singer-songwriters than Bob Dylan, John Denver and Jim Croce. All three have a way with words, effortlessly painting vivid pictures and telling memorable stories through their iconic lyrics. Many of their tunes have gone on to become classics, including “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jim, with his unmistakable voice, performed his most beloved tune. It’s such an enjoyable performance, featuring such talent and artistry. If you’re not singing along and tapping your toe along within minutes after he starts singing and strumming on the guitar, there might be something seriously wrong with you.

In addition to his distinctive voice, another reason “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim” is such a classic is its unique, catchy chorus. You just don’t hear those kinds of lyrics in many songs.

“You don’t tug on Superman’s cape
You don’t spit into the wind
You don’t pull the mask off that Lone Ranger
And you don’t mess around with Jim”

Even if you’re not a Jim Croce fan or, for some reason, you don’t enjoy this song, you still have to appreciate the talent.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
