The Washington Free Beacon reports, the supposedly “bipartisan” effort leading to a teacher walkout planned in Arizona Thursday is being led by a man who has worked closely with Democrats and partisan election groups.

Questions were raised last week regarding the background of Noah Karvelis, a teacher who has become the face of the #RedforEd movement, after Gov. Doug Ducey called him out for being a political activist.

Karvelis has worked as the campaign manager for local Democrat Kathy Hoffman, for the “Run for Something” group which had ties to the Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign, and as a volunteer for the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Karvelis and the Arizona Education Association whom he as allied with, both oppose Ducey’s recent plan to increase teacher salaries by 20 percent.
