Fox News Reaffirms Support for Host Ingraham

Fox News announced Monday they will continue to support host Laura Ingraham amid speculation that the network would cancel her program after her mild criticism of Parkland student David Hogg, and the resulting loss of more than a dozen advertisers.

Ingraham mocked Hogg on Twitter for not being accepted to certain colleges and whining about it. She later apologized, but Hogg wouldn’t accept it.

He responded by listing Fox News advertisers and calling on his supporters to boycott the companies.

Jack Abernethy, co-president of Fox News, said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times, “We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts.”

He added that Ingram would be welcomed back after returning from a previously scheduled vacation.
