Time Magazine columnist Ian Bremmer on Sunday tweeted a quote from President Trump about North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un that quickly went viral before he admitted that he made it up.

The Daily Caller reports Bremmer claimed in a tweet that Trump said while in Tokyo, “Kim Jong Un is smarter and would make a better President than Sleepy Joe Biden.”

While Trump did praise the North Korean dictator’s insults of Biden, he never said what Bremmer wrote.

Bremmer left the false post up for several hours before admitting he made up the quote and deleting the tweet, but claimed the quote could have been “plausible.”
