Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren is being blasted for comments she made on CNN’s “New Day” on Wednesday regarding the murder of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts by an illegal immigrant.

Warren did say she was “so sorry for the family here," but then immediately went on to call for a solution to “real problems" with the American immigration system.

She then focused on family separations at the border.

On "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Mary Ann Mendoza, whose police officer son Brandon was killed by a drunk-driving illegal immigrant, said she is "disgusted by Elizabeth Warren," adding that she wants Warren to “stop lying to the American people.”

Other critics say her comments make clear that Democrats are more concerned about illegal immigrants than American citizens.
