EPA Removes Climate Change Section of Website

The EPA on Friday removed the climate change section of its website as well as several other pages to "reflect the views of the leadership of the agency."

Newsmax reports the agency's associate administrator for public affairs said in a statement, the decision was made to "eliminate confusion by removing outdated language first and making room to discuss how we’re protecting the environment and human health by partnering with states and working within the law."

Detailed information on the Obama administration's Clean Power Plan was also removed to make way for news of President Trump’s executive order undoing Obama’s climate agenda.

The old pages are now archived and considered “"historical material.”
