David Harsanyi, senior writer at The Washington Examiner and co-host of the You’re Wrong podcast with Mollie Hemingway, on the 25th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. He reflects on the sense of patriotism and unity that followed the attacks, but also notes how it was short-lived and gave way to a more divisive and politicized era. David discusses how the aftermath of 9/11 led to a shift in the country's values and priorities. He recalls the initial sense of outrage and anger that followed the attacks, but also notes how it was quickly replaced by a more complex discussion about the role of Islam in American society. He critiques the Bush administration's approach to the Global War on Terror, which he believes created a culture of fear and moral relativism. David also discusses how the Obama Administration's policies further muddled the waters, creating a climate of moral equivocation and confusion about the nature of the enemy.
