Measles are spreading in the United States.
The left says it is the Trump administration's fault. Robert Kennedy Jr. says poor diet and other health issues are the cause.
So far in 2025, there have been 225 cases of measles, according to the CDC. 38 of the cases have ended in a hospitalization. One person has died from measles in 2025, with one other case still under investigation. New Mexico and Texas have the most cases.
In all of 2024, 285 cases of measles were reported in 33 jurisdictions: Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York City, New York State, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
