In a sit-down interview hosted by Via Path Social Impact director Tony Lowden, who also served in the Trump administration, along with being the pastor of Former President Jimmy Carter, Senator James Lankford opens up about why he loves the country, along with his reasoning for writing his book titled Turn Around. Lankford, who is known as the Baptist Minister, is clear that if the country is going to Turn Around, God has to be the center of the turnaround. “Although, I represent many different faith viewpoints, that I need not walk away from my faith. Before running for Congress and then the Senate, Lankford was known to many in the Oklahoma state community as the Baptist Convention's youth leader who led camps for thousands of youths every summer. “I want to be the role model that you don’t have to run away from your faith in being a politician.”
