A group of high school students touring Howard University Sunday were forced to leave for wearing “Make America Great Again” hats.

Howard University is a historically black, private university in Washington DC.

Two of the high school girls on the campus visit, wearing hats to show their support for President Trump, were greeted by expletive-laced harassment and threatened on Twitter from the college students.

Essence Dalton tweeted a photo of the girls complaining, “Whitey girls tryna be problematic”.

Others said they “should get beat” and one of the girls said they were told to “remove our hats because we are racist.”

High school student Allie Vandee, wearing one of the hats, later said, “I will never be embarrassed for supporting Donald Trump. I will always support OUR president when, and wherever, I please.”
