A Prayer for Jesus to Calm the Storms of Life | Your Daily Prayer

Life often brings storms we never expected — anxiety, uncertainty, loss, sickness, and overwhelming stress. In those moments, it can feel like the waves are crashing all around us. Yet Scripture reminds us that Jesus is present even in the middle of the storm.

In Mark 4, the disciples feared for their lives while caught in a violent storm at sea. But Jesus stood and spoke peace over the wind and waves, saying, “Quiet! Be still!” Immediately, the storm became calm.

The same Savior who calmed the sea still brings peace to troubled hearts today. He may not always remove the storm immediately, but He faithfully walks with us through it.

Prayer

Jesus, the storms in my life often leave me feeling afraid and overwhelmed. Help me trust You even when fear rises within me. Speak peace over my anxious heart and remind me that You are always near. Thank You for walking beside me through every storm. In Your name, amen.
