Lee Greenwood and Drew Jacobs have released a rock version of God Bless the USA today and you can hear it below.

The new version of the beloved song, which has long been a fixture of 4th of July parades and political events, brings a fresh energy to the well-known tune.

The patriotic song still celebrates the United States with many of the same lyrics. "I'm proud to be an American where at least I know that I'm free," the duo sings, "and I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me." However, the pace has quickened in this new version that brings a dramatic electricity to the beloved song.
