Waiting Upon the Lord- A Heartfelt Video To My Daughter2

All Things New-feat Alison Taylor

“All Things New” w/m kevin mccullough Verse 1 I walked through the autumn chill, the leaves like broken glass, He said forever softly, then forever came and passed. I left my scarf, my hope, my heart on that old oak stair, And the echo of his promise still hung heavy in the air. Verse 2 I drove home in silence, headlights blurred with tears, The road was long and empty, like the sum of all my fears. Mama whispered softly, “Child, just give it time,” But I was hollow as a church bell that had lost its chime. Verse 3 Then I met a stranger down on Mercy Street, He didn’t flinch or turn away from the dirt beneath my feet. He said, “I’ve seen it all, and still I call your name,” And for the first time in forever, I felt no shame. Chorus ’Cause I was broken, but He held me, Wounded, but He knew me well. And in His arms, I found the story That no heartbreak could dispel. I was lost, but He pursued— Now I’m not the girl you knew. He’s not like any man I fell for— He makes all things new. Verse 4 He didn’t buy me roses, He wore a crown of thorns, He didn’t whisper sweet things, He calmed my raging storms. He took the weight I carried, the guilt I tried to hide, And gave me something stronger than my foolish pride. Chorus ’Cause I was broken, but He held me, Wounded, but He knew me well. And in His arms, I found the story That no heartbreak could dispel. I was lost, but He pursued— Now I’m not the girl you knew. He’s not like any man I fell for— He makes all things new. Bridge 1 And maybe in another life, I’d still be chasing ghosts at night, But now I see the morning light— Grace, not guilt, is burning bright. Instrumental Interlude Verse 5 I still drive by the house sometimes, but it’s just a place, The ghost of who I was fades in the rearview space. Now I wear a different kind of ring—one no one can undo, Forged in love eternal, not in “I still miss you.” Verse 6 I dance in the kitchen, bare feet, unafraid, No chains on my laughter, no debts left unpaid. And if he saw me now, I’d hope he knew, The best thing he ever did—was let me find what’s true. Chorus ’Cause I was broken, but He held me, Wounded, but He knew me well. And in His arms, I found the story That no heartbreak could dispel. I was lost, but He pursued— Now I’m not the girl you knew. He’s not like any man I fell for— He makes all things new. Bridge 2 And I remember pain, But it don’t own me anymore. Love walked in, And showed me what these scars were for. Chorus 2 Now I’m chosen, I’m forgiven, Every tear has been redeemed. He rewrote the end of my story With a love I’d never dreamed. I was lost, but He pursued— Now I’m not the girl you knew. He’s not like any man I fell for— He makes all things new. Antiphonal Tag (call and response) “You love me still…” “I always will.” “I thought I fell—” “But I caught you well.” “All I was, all I’ll ever do— You make all things new.”

Stunning ‘Blessed Assurance’ Performance by Stephen McWhirter Will Move You

Stephen McWhirter never fails to spin a good hymn. This stunning “Blessed Assurance” performance by Stephen McWhirter will move you and bring you peace today. Just play the video to feel it.

This is no version of “Blessed Assurance” as you’ve ever heard before. The worship leader sings with such heart and soul. He’s got his own unique style that carries you away.

His guitar playing sweetly matches the song, as does the drum accompaniment.

Here are some of the song’s simple, yet powerful lyrics

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

The song speaks to the power of hope and confidence in Jesus Christ and his promises. He is worthy of all praise.

Stephen said, “Few hymns have carried believers through storms and seasons like this one. This acoustic worship version of Blessed Assurance is a reminder that our hope isn’t in circumstances, but in Jesus alone.”

He continues, “When fear rises…When doubts get loud…When life feels uncertain… We can proudly say, ‘This is my story. This is my song. Praising my Savior all the day long.’”

Stephen has a unique gift for reviving old hymns into something deeply soulful and almost modern-sounding. It’s a simple performance, but that’s why it’s so soul-soothing. It feels like honest, sincere worship—and it resonates with the listener.

This cover begs for quiet reflection and dedication. Through his cover, Stephen creates a sacred space meant for intention and devotion. The song brims with tenderness and resolve through Stephen’s singing.

As you listen, remember where assurance is found.

“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:22

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 16 - You Lord Are My Choice

Psalm 16 shifts from the focused requirements of the previous chapter into a state of profound contentment and spiritual security, expressing a deep, personal affection for God as the ultimate prize. It radiates an overflowing joy, moving past the fear of death to a place of absolute rest and the anticipation of eternal pleasure in God’s presence. The "Book of Psalms: Back to Songs" project is a creative endeavor to restore the original spirit of the #psalms - as songs of worship, lament, praise, and reflection-by transforming them back into musical form, as many were written. Drawing from modern translations of the classic biblical texts, this project reimagines the Psalms with fresh musical arrangements that blend timeless messages with modern sounds. Each Psalm is thoughtfully adapted into lyrical and melodic compositions, many using modern tools, to explore harmonies, instrumentation, and genre-blending arrangements. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth. -- notes: Words updated for song lyrics style: Pop Rock, female vocals

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 14 - Only a Fool

Psalm 14 is defined by a sense of profound grief and sober astonishment at the widespread corruption and "practical atheism" of a world that lives as if God does not exist. This heavy lament eventually gives way to a yearning hope, anticipating a future day when God will restore His people and turn their collective sorrow into shouting joy. Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 13 - I Trust Your Love

Psalm 13 captures a dramatic shift from the aching exhaustion of "How long, O Lord?" to a heart-wrenching plea for light in the midst of spiritual darkness. It ultimately resolves into a spirit of restored joy, as the writer chooses to sing in anticipation of God's faithful love despite the lingering presence of sorrow. Family’s Sweet Cover of Brandon Lake’s ‘Gratitude’ Will Warm Your Heart

Listen to this family’s sweet cover of Brandon Lake’s song ‘Gratitude.’ The talented family performing in this video is The Asidors, and the music that they make together will warm your heart. What a beautiful thing it is to see a family make music together, encouraging and uplifting others!

‘All my words fall short, I got nothin' new
How could I express all my gratitude?
I could sing these songs as I often do
But every song must end and You never do’

This is such a great rendition of the song ‘Gratitude.’ The vocalists in the music video include Huly Ray Asidor and Kristle May B. Asidor, as well as their children, Bree and Hunter.

“So wonderful and uplifting to see this beautiful family singing together. I loved this!” comments one person online after watching the video.

“Love the family sitting around the keyboard and just singing together...feels like home, not a performance. That's truly worship!” writes another person.

The Asidors are a family of Christian singers who share God’s love through their music. The family performs in many different places, especially at churches and religious gatherings. They also have a popular YouTube channel where they share their musical performances. The Asidors strive to make videos that are inspiring, uplifting, and enjoyable for all.

As for the song ‘Gratitude’ by Brandon Lake, it emerged during a conversation between Brandon and a friend, sparked by reflections on the goodness of God. In the midst of their dialogue, Brandon realized that nothing we possess truly matches the worthiness of God, except for our worship. And the essence of the song ‘Gratitude’ lies in its sincerity, stemming from a heart committed to transparency and openness with God.

We hope that you enjoyed this beautiful rendition of ‘Gratitude’ today!

Brandon Lake Powerful ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’ Performance on GMA

You have to see this powerful performance on Good Morning America of Brandon Lake singing his song ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah.’ The five-time Grammy winner talks about his sold-out King of Heart Tour and how he hopes to keep making music that points people to Jesus. Let this worship performance encourage you today!

‘Yeah, I don't always feel it, yeah, but that's when I need it the most
So I'ma keep on singin' 'til my soul catches up with my song
There's times when my hands go up freely, times that it costs
There's days when a praise comes out easy, days when it takes all the strength I've got’

This is one song that many people can relate to. Sometimes, you have no idea what battles God is sustaining other people to endure and how hard-fought their worship could be. Brandon Lake shared that same sentiment when he said this: “God does something really beautiful when I just bring Him my honesty…you’re trying to worship and praise more so when you don’t feel it than when you do. A lot of life is the valley; it’s not the mountaintop.”

Many people online responded positively to Brandon Lake’s performance on GMA, sharing how the artist has impacted them and their faith.

“This anointed man is absolutely ‘fueling the genre's explosion,’ as Billboard stated. I can honestly say he has brought me closer to Jesus and I will forever be thankful for that,” one person comments online.

“Love seeing Brandon on Good Morning America. This song resonates with so many people that God doesn’t need us to have it all together. We just need to run to the Father and let Him work in us,” another person writes.

We hope that you enjoyed this performance from Brandon Lake. Let the song remind you about the battles that we all face and the praise that comes after, while God is sustaining us through it all.

You’ve Never Heard ‘I Can Only Imagine’ Performed Quite Like This

This song is one that leads us to ponder eternity with Jesus. However, this artist has recreated the melody in a fun and unexpected way. You’ve never heard ‘I Can Only Imagine’ performed quite like this.

At the beginning of this song, we see the artist sitting on a bench in a dimly lit room with stage lights. The singer begins with the guitar and his microphone. His style is a unique reggae version.

This young man, with fiery red hair and an exciting stage presence, will leave you eager to see what he will do next. He sings with his heart. You really can feel his emotions in this version. There is a particular moment that will wow you when he jumps up vocally an octave at the end. It is very impressive and moving.

The lyrics share

I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?

At the end of the video, we see that this young man goes by the name Joel Jackson Worship. Joel helps believers in Jesus reflect on their own moment of glory in this video. The Lord is so good and holy, yet He is so personable and knows us intimately.

We can be encouraged to know that we have seen His glory here on earth and that one day we will see Him fully glorified in heaven. May this be a hopeful message: Jesus gives the victory, and this suffering is not forever. No matter what you are facing today, may this song breathe new life into your situation, that this is not the end, and we can celebrate together.

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” Matthew 25:23

Tauren Wells Lyric Video for Powerful ‘Breathe On It’

Tauren Wells's lyric video for the powerful “Breathe On It” is simple and spiritually inspiring. It’s a peaceful way to showcase Tauren’s thoughtful lyrics. Play the video to soak in the words and meaning.

Christian singer Tauren Wells's new lyric video shows a cross on a wavy blue canvas. Its visuals tie into the song’s meaning—that anything God breathes on is given transformation. And though the surroundings may waver, the cross never does.

Some of the lyrics to “Breathe On It” are:

Something's gotta come alive again
Every time You breathe on it
I can feel Your fire falling
Ain't no shackle You're not breaking loose

Tauren said of his song, “I’m asking God to BREATHE ON IT💨. Nothing done out of my own striving or strength but carried along by the wind of His spirit. I have a holy expectation that it could change…everything.”

The breath of life is a recurring theme throughout scripture.

In Genesis, God breathed life into Adam. In Ezekiel, the prophet received a vision of the wind breathing life into a field of dry bones, and they formed an army that came to life. In John, Jesus breathed on his disciples before he ascended, gifting them the Holy Spirit.

Like Tauren is saying, we should look for where God is breathing, rather than making our own plans and agendas. His breath, his spirit, is a gift that we shouldn’t take for granted.

It’s wonderful that artists like Tauren dig into the scripture to remind us what we should have on our hearts. It’s not all about emotions and feelings or surface worship—it's about listening to the Holy Spirit and looking for where God wants us to be.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7
