Teen Sings Emotional Rendition Of ‘Rise Up’ By Andra Day

A young woman showed her unbelievable voice by turning in an inspired cover of Andra Day’s hit “Rise Up.”

Life is a journey, often consisting of a series of unexpected twists, turns and detours. No one can be sure where life will take them. But no matter where life may lead someone, there will be plenty of happy and joyous occasions. But on the other hand, there will be instances of hardship, trial and heartache.

In a video posted on YouTube, Jadyn Rylee covers “Rise Up,” a song meant to inspire and push others to continue going when it appears all hope is lost. The song’s opening verse is full of encouragement, telling listeners they can move mountains.

“And you can’t find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains
We gonna walk it out
And move mountains”

In addition to the song’s uplifting and positive message, Jadyn shows off her stunning voice. The control she possesses over her voice, able to move it up and down with ease, hitting nearly every single note, is remarkable. She can do things with her voice that most singers can only dream of doing.

One could easily listen to this young lady’s cover of “Rise Up” several times without ever getting tired of it. She has been abundantly blessed with a terrific voice.

During these periods of pain and struggle that the song mentions, exhibiting a spirit of perseverance and resilience is a must. Giving up and quitting has not served many people well, and that isn’t likely to change anytime soon.

Additionally, God remains by our side during unpleasant situations. His Word states on several occasions that He will never leave or forsake us during our time of need.

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.”

Group Of ‘Notorious Sinners’ Worship The Lord With ‘My Heart Wants You’

A group of talented musicians, Mountain People Worship, made up of “notorious sinners” gave a stunning and moving performance of a song about how much they desire Jesus Christ in their lives.

There are some segments of the population that society looks down upon, wishing to avoid interacting with them at all costs. Those who have experienced issues with drug abuse or were previously incarcerated aren’t people others rush out to befriend. Sadly, this is the attitude of some in the church as well. People tend to pass judgment if others don’t adhere to a particular look or if some sin in their past is revealed.

But of course, this is the wrong attitude, which Jesus mentioned in Mark when He was accused of affiliating with tax collectors and “sinners.”

In a video posted on YouTube, a group of people the world often looks down upon - orphans, ex-drug addicts, those who spent time behind bars and “other notorious sinners” - sing “My Hearts Wants You.”

In the song’s opening verse, the singers mention how much they want and desire Christ in their lives. The lyrics state that it has become so strong that they cannot sleep. Their heart’s need for Jesus Christ is literally keeping them awake at night.

“I lie wide awake in bed
With my heart beating out of my chest
Jesus, Jesus
My heart wants You
My heart wants You”

In addition to the lovely lyrics about wanting and needing Christ in their life and heart, the video is also a beautiful representation of this desire. The camera moves through a cabin filled with people singing, praising and worshiping Christ. Nearly everyone seen on camera has their hands up, praising the name of Jesus.

Mark 2:17 “When Jesus heard it, he said to them, ‘Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Rise Up Children’s Choir Sings Chilling Tune ‘I Believe’

A group of musically gifted children turned in a stunning performance, singing a song about finding and having hope and faith even in the bleakest of situations.

Throughout history, human beings have shown that they are capable of some truly horrific, revolting and sickening things. One of the most prominent examples, which perfectly illustrates the level of evil humans are capable of, is the Holocaust during WWII. But even during that time, when Jews were systematically murdered and forced into hiding, some still managed to search for and find hope.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple of dozen children sing “I Believe.” According to the video’s description, the song’s lyrics were found, originally written on the wall of an underground shelter in Cologne, Germany. That location was used for those of the Jewish faith to hide and avoid the horrors of the Holocaust.

The words the children so beautifully sing are moving, heartbreaking and full of hope at the same time.

“I believe in the Sun, even when, even when it’s not shining
I believe in love, even when, even when I don’t feel it
I believe in God, even when, even when He is silent”

Those powerful lyrics help to put things in perspective. If someone, when one group of people was slaughtering another simply for being different, can hold out hope and faith for a better tomorrow, what excuse do we have?

It’s likely that none of us will ever face a situation like the Holocaust but people still complain about their present circumstances, believing that the world has somehow conspired against them. Even when it may not appear like it, even when all hope appears to be lost, God is still in control. He is still working and will never leave nor forsake us.

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”

Brooke Ligertwood - Fear Of God

Are you looking for a song to motivate you about the power and strength of our God? Look no further and check out this incredible new song by Brooke Ligertwood - Fear of God.

The beginning of this song has a powerful instrumental. We see riveting clips of studio recording sessions and live worship events. We get close-ups of electric guitars and Brooke behind a microphone.

She begins singing a very catchy melody. The lyrics are proclaiming the power of Jesus against Satan. It is an empowering message of hope and confidence in the work of Christ.

The chorus sings out impactfully:

In the blink of an eye and a trumpet sound
We will be changed by a supernatural power
So lift up your voice if God's called you too
While we're still here we've got work to do

We see back-to-back clips of the musicians in this creative display of work. The words remind us that Jesus is coming back and there will be a last day, but right now, we call on our great God to work and move because we are still on His mission. He has called all who believe in Him to go and make disciples of all nations. We have the best news in the world that we get to share with others.

Brooke reminds us that we all have failures, but Christ has won the war with sin and death. We have the victory in Him. She excitedly and visibly extols the Lord through her singing and physical expressions of praise. This song has an edgy rock feel to it. The style of music gives us a feeling of readiness and anticipation of the return of our King.

Are you ready for Jesus’ return? May we live each day in the victory and on the mission that He has entrusted to us.

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” Revelation 22:12

Cody Carnes - Firm Foundation (He Won't) / Great Are You Lord (Tag)

Listen to Condy Carnes perform ‘Firm Foundation He Won’t) combined with ‘Great Are You Lord.”

The music will set you firmly on solid ground and anchored in God’s greatness. Cody reminds us to put our faith in the Lord. We will never be disappointed. Yet, we’re flawed human beings, and we put our faith in silly things. We have faith that our car will get us from home to work.

We have faith that the roof over our heads will keep us dry and warm. We have faith the mail will be delivered every day. In the grand scheme of life, these everyday moments are trivial when we compare them to God.

Cody wrote Firm Foundation as a reminder to stand firm in your faith when everything else seems to be faltering. He wanted to write a song that reflected the declarative promises in Matthew 7 when Jesus shared the story of two houses, one built on solid ground, the other built on sand.

The story proclaims Jesus will not fail us no matter how much the ground shakes or how hard the winds might blow. If we build our lives and faith on the Rock of Christ, we can face any storm.

“Christ is my firm foundation. The rock on which I stand. When everything around me is shaken. I've never been more glad. That I put my faith in Jesus. 'Cause He's never let me down. He's faithful through generations, so why would He fail now?”

What a blessed assurance and faith-boosting confidence God’s Word gives us. We can rest securely in His mighty hands. Through Him all things are possible. We hope this sound grounded you in God’s promises today.

Matthew 7:24-25 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”

Trio Of Men Perform ‘Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing’

Three unbelievably talented musicians share their gift for creating pleasant sounds with an instrumental performance of the beloved hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.”

There is a reason why the same old hymns are still played in churches and performed by musicians. Songs like “How Great Thou Art,” "Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Amazing Grace” are all so beautifully written and eloquently praise and worship the Lord.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the group Simply Three plays the hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.” None of the musicians in the video sing a word. Instead, they let their fingers do the talking. They nimbly and expertly play their instruments, providing a powerful, moving and thoroughly enjoyable rendition of the hymn.

“Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Calls for songs of loudest praise”

Simply Three’s version of the old church hymn is more than worthy of a few listens. Their playing is fantastic, giving it an almost rock-and-roll feel and sound.

In addition to the wonderfully pleasant sounds, the video is also a treat visually. The video is absolutely gorgeous, making full use of the landscape and the sunlight. Viewers are given wide, sweeping views of expansive mountain ranges, vast deserts and crystal blue waters.

Several others who commented on Simply Three’s video mentioned how they adored the group's rendition of the hymn and the magnificent views captured in the clip.

“Love it! Love the up-tempo..Love the scenery..my goodness, where was this film with the river? So beautiful,” one person wrote.

“I love this! Beautiful song, it’s so relaxing and giving me joy. And those views? So stunning,” someone else added.

“Gorgeous video, guys!” another YouTube viewer posted.

1 Corinthians 14:15 “What then? Let my prayer be from the spirit, and equally from the mind; let my song be from the spirit, and equally from the mind.”

‘Life’s Railway To Heaven’ The Oak Ridge Boys At Larry’s Country Diner

One of the most well-known and beloved country and gospel groups of all time gave a moving performance of ‘Life’s Railway to Heaven.”

Most people, even if they aren’t familiar with any of their songs, have at least heard of the musical group The Oak Ridge Boys. The group has been around for decades, winning multiple awards and producing such memorable hit songs as “Leaving Louisiana in the Broad Daylight,” “Bobbie Sue” and “Elvira.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the guys appeared on Larry’s Country Diner and thrilled the studio audience with a rendition of “Life’s Railway to Heaven.” Their beautiful voices harmonize perfectly together, creating a wonderful sound. It’s a clip that is worth more than a few views.

The song is all about the trials and tragedies that everyone faces along the road of life. However, the lyrics remind all that despite all the rough patches and the unexpected detours, there is a destination. The destination will make all the hardships, turmoil and tragedy worth it.

Heaven awaits those who do not fall away but press on and follow Christ. The song’s chorus perfectly articulates and describes that place of everlasting life and peace.

“Blessed Savior, thou will guide us
Till we reach that blissful shore
Where the angels wait to join us
In God’s praise for evermore”

The song’s second verse reiterates how all will encounter difficulties and unpleasant circumstances. However, holding on and keeping one’s focus straight ahead and on Jesus is what everyone must do in this life.

After that stirring and jaw-dropping performance about what awaits the believers and followers of Christ, the studio audience gives the guys a well-deserved round of applause. One doesn’t even have to be the biggest country or gospel music fan to enjoy this performance.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
