Thy power throughout the universe displayed’

This is such a great rendition of this classic hymn, and the scenery in the music video is just stunning! Many people online shared their thoughts about the Redeemed Quartet’s performance of ‘How Great Thou Art.’

“You sing this with such passion and truth! I get chills hearing it every day! I love it!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Beautifully done guys! I really like your vocal blend,” another person writes.

Redeemed Quartet is a talented Southern Gospel Quartet made up of four best friends and brothers from Indiana. They had their start in 2014, and their mission with their music is to shine a light in the darkness and uplift others while showcasing four-part harmony and life-changing lyrics.

As for the background of ‘How Great Thou Art,’ the hymn started in Sweden in 1886, and it is fascinating to hear how the song made its way to the United States. Author and editor Carl Boberg originally wrote ‘How Great Thou Art’ as a poem. Later, those words were set to a Swedish folk tune. Then, in 1907, Manfred von Glehn translated it into German, and five years later, a Russian pastor, Ivan Prokhanoff, made a Russian adaptation.

Then, in the early 1920s, Rev. and Mrs. Stuart Hine left their home in England and went to Poland as missionaries. That’s when they heard the Russian adaptation of ‘How Great Thou Art.’ Reverend Hine decided to write the English lyrics and make his own arrangement of the Swedish melody. After going through many iterations, we have the beloved ‘How Great Thou Art’ hymn that we know today.

We hope you enjoyed listening to this version of ‘How Great Thou Art’ today!

TobyMac Unveils ‘Heaven on My Mind’ Lyric Video

TobyMac has unveiled the lyric video for his latest song, “Heaven on My Mind.” The popular and incredibly talented Christian musician has dropped the lyric video for his newest and catchy tune. Watch the short video to see and hear the lyric video for TobyMac’s “Heaven on My Mind.”

No person alive on Earth today will be alive 120 years from now, and most people will not even reach their 100th birthday. Aging is a process that impacts everyone. Time is undefeated, and its record looks to remain perfect for the foreseeable future.

Eventually, our bodies will give out, and our time on Earth will end. The Bible states that our lives are like mist: here, one second, and gone the next. But because of Jesus Christ, while we will experience a physical death, we do not have to go through a spiritual one. Heaven awaits all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In his new song, “Heaven on My Mind,” TobyMac makes it clear that he understands Earth is not his home. It is a temporary stop until he reaches his eternal home, Heaven, with Jesus Christ.

“Heaven on My Mind” is a thoroughly enjoyable and well-written song about what those alive in Christ have to look forward to after leaving this world. As great as things may be on Earth, they pale in comparison to what will be experienced and available in Heaven. Not only that but when we arrive in Heaven, we’ll be reunited with loved ones who have passed on ahead of us. Entering Heaven will be a joyous, happy occasion for sure.

“I got Heaven on my mind
I got people waitin’ by
Close my eyes, and I can see
Dancing on them golden streets”

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Here is Love Vast as the Ocean - Dyma Gariad in Welsh / English

The song that fired up the Great Welsh Revival. This version was sung at a major gathering in the UK in the original Welsh as solo, and then in English by the whole stadium. Here is a remake of an earlier video that I texted in Norwegian at first and that is found elsewhere on this channel. For practical reasons I swapped the Norwegian for the English at the beginning, as I mean to use it in a gathering.

Michael W. Smith’s Powerful Live ‘Agnus Dei’ Performance

Michael W. Smith turned in a powerful live performance of “Agnus Dei.” The popular Christian music artist’s powerful rendition of the beloved tune will move you and give you chills. Watch this short but powerful clip of the song about the one true and risen King.

Without Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, you and I would not have hope or a future. Instead, we would be looking at an eternity lost and separated from Him. It would be one full of pain, anguish and gnashing of teeth. Sadly, there would be no end in sight to that situation.

But Jesus Christ came in and ultimately and forever changed everything. No longer do we have to fear death and what comes after we leave this earth. With His willingness to go to the cross, where he suffered and died, Christ paid the price. His death and subsequent resurrection bridged the gap that sin had caused between God and man. Christ made a way when there was none before.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael W. Smith and several other musicians perform “Agnus Dei.” It’s a song of worship and praise, giving glory to the One who gave all, paid the price and made the ultimate sacrifice because He thought you and I were worth it.

The beautiful song is about the risen King, who freely offers love and forgiveness to all who call upon His name and seek Him. The lyrics may be simple and repetitive, but nothing could be more powerful than the song’s message. He lives and reigns, still saving and changing lives today.

“Holy, holy
Are You Lord God, Almighty?
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb
You are Holy, holy”

The Bible states that even while we were still sinners, Christ laid down His life for you and me, which shows how much He loved and still loves us.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his lives to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”

This ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’ Cover Will Give You Chills

This “Open the Eyes of My Heart” cover will give you chills. It’s a powerful and moving performance of the praise and worship song that is near and dear to the hearts of many. Watch the short video and listen to the outstanding rendition of the Paul Baloche tune.

Covers have existed since the invention of music itself. This time-honored practice is not going anywhere. For the foreseeable future, musicians will continue performing songs initially written and recorded by other musicians. Nothing is going to change that.

Some people appreciate covers, while others aren’t their biggest fans. I can see why someone would like them and why someone might be totally against the idea. Classics are classics for a reason. Some songs should not be reinvented. Turning in a subpar cover may even ruin the original for some people. On the other hand, sometimes it’s nice to hear someone else’s take on a well-known, beloved song.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young woman performs Paul Baloche’s classic “Open the Eyes of My Heart.” If you cover a song, there must be a reason for the latest rendition to exist. Something must be changed from the original, even if it’s slight or barely noticeable. That is not a problem with this cover at all. It is not just a carbon copy of the original.

This rendition of “Open the Eyes of My Heart” is much, much slower paced than the original, putting more emphasis on the tune’s beautiful lyrics. Her voice is also much different from the original singer’s, giving it a different sound and feel.

Whether you prefer the original version or like this cover better, both are beautifully performed renditions in which the singers voice their desire to become closer to and to know God better.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

‘Are You Washed in the Blood’ Cover Will Touch Your Heart

This cover of “Are You Washed in the Blood” will touch your heart. It’s a powerful and moving take on the hymn known and loved by many. Watch the short clip to hear this rendition of the classic hymn that is near and dear to the hearts of many.

Hymns are much better than most contemporary Christian music, and it’s not even close. Yes, there are a few classic contemporary Christian songs and many talented artists consistently produce music in that genre. But there is simply no competing with the old hymns.

Sadly, many churches have started abandoning hymns. Instead, houses of worship have opted to fill the praise and worship portion of their Sunday morning services with contemporary Christian songs. That is fine and entirely a matter of personal preference. But is it too much to ask to sprinkle a hymn in occasionally? What’s wrong with “Amazing Grace” or “Great is Thy Faithfulness?” A slight change of pace can be a good thing now and then.

While many churches have forgotten the hymns, some on YouTube apparently still appreciate them. Someone posted an updated version of “Are You Washed in the Blood.” It has a new sound but still has the same beautiful lyrics that we all know and love.

“Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in the grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?”

“Are You Washed in the Blood” is one of those hymns that will always be powerful and relevant. Nothing else matters except knowing Christ and being washed in the blood of the Lamb. His entire purpose in going to the cross, suffering, and dying was that we could be forgiven and experience eternal life with Him. Praise his name!

1 John 1:7 “But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, we are all united with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us clean from all sin.”

Stunning ‘Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty' Hymn Cover Will Give You Goosebumps

A choir’s stunning “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty” hymn cover will give you goosebumps. It’s a powerful and moving rendition of the beloved hymn that deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short clip to hear their awe-inspiring rendition of the tune near and dear to the hearts of many.

There is something special about those old church hymns. Yes, some of them are very old, hundreds of years in some cases, but they remain as relevant and meaningful as ever. Those tunes contain much truth and meaning in their short but sweet verses and iconic, memorable choruses.

Most of us can recite many of those hymns simply from memory. The lyrics about God’s love, faithfulness, power, mercy and grace are words we will never forget. Because of those hymns, we’ll constantly be reminded of the powerful and loving God we serve.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians and a church’s congregation powerfully and beautifully “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty.” If you’ve spent any time at all in a church that regularly includes hymns in the praise and worship portion of their service, you are familiar with this hymn.

“Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning, our song shall rise to thee
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!”

The rest of the song is one of praise, giving Him glory and honor for what He did on the cross all those years ago for you and me. He did what no one else could have done. He willingly went to the cross, where He suffered and died, shedding His life-giving blood. He bought our forgiveness, paying and fulfilling a debt we could never repay. Praise His wonderful name!

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Choir’s Soul-Stirring ‘All Sufficient Merit’ Performance

A choir turned in a soul-stirring performance of “All Sufficient Merit.” The musicians’ powerful rendition of the beloved hymn is awe-inspiring and deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch and listen to the short clip to hear the sweet sounds as they sing the wonderful lyrics about the difference Christ makes in the lives of sinners.

If not for Christ, we would be without hope, looking at an eternity lost and separated from Him. Humans are fallen, born into a sinful nature that seeks its own way and openly rebels against the things of God. The Bible states that all are sinners, having fallen well short of the glory of God.

All, not some or just a handful, need the forgiveness and love freely offered by the Lord Jesus Christ. Thankfully, His love, mercy and grace are available to all this very day. There’s nothing we can do or ever could do to earn it. It’s a gift. He paid our debt by willingly going to and dying on the cross.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a handful of truly talented and skilled musicians perform “All Sufficient Merit.” It’s a tune about what has been done for each sinner, how He paid it all and that the only thing we have to do is accept Christ’s love and forgiveness.

The song’s lyrics are beautiful and powerful. They describe everything that Christ has done for you and me and why. We do not deserve it, yet it is available to all who earnestly seek Him and call upon His name.

“In love, He condescended eternal now in time
A life without blemish the Maker made to die
The law could never save us; our lawlessness had won
Until the pure and spotless Lamb had finally come”

As the verse makes it wholly clear, Christ did for us what we could not do for ourselves. He became the ultimate sacrifice, forever bridging the gap sin had caused between man and God.

1 John 2:2 “He is the offering for our sins; and not for ours only, but for all the world.”

God is On Your Side

I am a songwriter from Accra, Ghana, where I was born and have been living all my life. I wrote God is On Your Side in 2023 and by September 6, 2024 it was recorded by Demo My Song, a US-based music production service. The song talks about God's proximity to us, and his desire for us to prosper in this life. However, only he can provide us with the good things we need in this life, without attaching any strings to them. Read Proverbs 10:22. After I composed the song, I needed money to record it. I did an extensive search for funding online and came by GiveSendGo, a crowdfunding site where I posted a video of myself singing the song. I waited for donations but had nothin. That was in March 2024. Then in June, GiveSendGo organized a giveaway contest where you had to record yourself commenting on the site. I did a video, though hesitant at first. By the Lord's divine grace, I won the contest! I was chosen as one of five winners and awarded a whooping sum of $1200! With some of that, I had this song recorded. Proverbs 16:3 asks us to commit our works to the Lord, and he will make our plans succeed! You could buy the song from Soundcloud, via the 'buy' link. And you could also get a complete list of all my songs in CD format, via ElasticStage. Rock Singer's Stunningly Beautiful Cover of ‘Hallelujah’ Will Give You Chills

A rock singer’s stunningly beautiful cover of ‘Hallelujah’ guitarist will give you chills. This reimagined version of the beloved ‘Hallelujah Chorus,’ adds a thrilling and thoroughly enjoyable rock twist, making for one epic musical performance. The incredibly talented musician gave the timeless Christmas piece an updated sound and feel. Check out this video because this version of the Christmas classic is more than worth a few listens.

The season of twinkling lights and candlelit carols slips away too soon, doesn’t it? The stockings are tucked back into storage, the nativity scene carefully wrapped in tissue, and we’re left standing in the quiet of the winter months, longing for something steady, something bright. The magic fades, and we’re desperate for warmth, for a glimpse of hope to carry us through. We’re ready for spring, for the warmth and sunshine.

But then comes along Erik Growell, who has a sacred gift as a soul-awakening guitarist. Once he steps out onto frozen, covered fields, the stage is set about what is unfolding. He sings like nothing we’ve heard before as he reimagines the sacred Hallelujah Chorus. Not a whisper, not a hushed echo of a cathedral choir—but an anthem in the middle of a snow-covered, frost-layered field. A thunderous, electrifying cry that lifts weary hearts and sends a surge of something fierce and holy straight through your chest.

For those who know Erik’s story, this moment holds even more weight. Once a rising rock star, he faced a devastating leukemia diagnosis that threatened to take his voice, his music—his very life. But grace met him in the fire, and he fought his way back, healed and whole, his voice stronger than ever. And now, he stands here, guitar in hand, offering up a ‘Hallelujah’ that whispers right to your heart and helps is rise above the frozenness of life.

This isn’t just music—it’s light breaking through heavy clouds. It’s the ache of winter meeting the promise of spring. It’s a reminder that even when the world feels dim, even when we’re worn from the weight of waiting, there’s still a song to sing, still a reason to lift our hands in worship.

Because the story of Christmas isn’t just for December, the Hallelujah still rings through January. And February. And even March.  And every valley and mountaintop in between.

So turn it up, let it shake your soul. Let it remind you—hope is still here. Hallelujah still reigns.

Psalms 98:4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
