ABC is coming under fire from conservatives after their decision on Friday to cancel Tim Allen's hit sitcom "Last Man Standing" as it closes its sixth season.

Allen has been vocal in his criticism of Hollywood's leftist culture and according to HeatStreet, many viewers believe his refusal to remain silent about politics in heavily Democratic Hollywood led to his show being cancelled despite drawing 8.1 million viewers this season.

Only "Modern Family" beat "Last Man Standing" in the ratings.

Many viewers of the show think that the decision is being made by liberal ABC, owned by Disney, primarily because the series is about an outspoken conservative character played by a conservative actor.

Heatstreet reports many fans of the show are furious on social media and are calling for a boycott of the network.
