Ahead of today’s release of Hillary Rodham Clinton's book, “What Happened,” Amazon and Walmart, cut the price of the tell-all by 40 percent.

Publisher Simon and Schuster set a price of $30 for the book in which Clinton apparently seeks to blame nearly everyone for her 2016 Presidential election loss.

But, Amazon and Walmart both set the price on today’s release at $17.99.

The Washington Examiner reports that much of what's in her book has already been reported on, thanks to leaked copies.

The price cut, however, has likely helped to boost sales despite negative reviews. It is currently No. 1 on Amazon.
