Official guidelines issued by the British Medical Association (BMA) tells doctors to expectant mothers as “pregnant people” so as not to offend transgender people.
Breitbart reports the controversial advice appears in a booklet on “inclusive language in the workplace” which also rules that the terms ‘biologically male’ and ‘biologically female’ are a problem and instructs doctors to instead say that the individual was ‘assigned’ male or female at birth.
The guideline comes after one British woman, out of the 775,000 who give birth each year, had to put her ‘transitioning’ operation on hold to have a baby.
Even so, BMA demands the word ‘mothers’ be dropped from doctors’ vocabularies to not offend transgender people, and in order to “celebrate diversity”.
