California Looks to Provide Pro-Abortion License Plates

A California legislator is trying to get “pro-choice” license plates on to cars.

Democratic State Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson, and NARAL Pro-Choice California on Monday unveiled three designs for a so-called “California Trusts Women” plate that could be created through Jackson’s Senate Bill 309, which is now moving through the state Legislature.

Jackson said the new plate would be for those “who are deeply troubled by the federal attack on women’s rights and health care to take their values ‘to the street’.”

The bill still needs to pass the Legislature and be signed by the Governor.
