Mainstream media who are so quick to support illegal immigrants pouring across the U.S. southern border were met with a big dose of reality recently.

The Washington Times reports CBS reporter David Begnaud and his crew were recently doing a story from Roma, Texas, along the Rio Grande when their cameras caught a smuggler and his scout shuttling illegal immigrants into the country.

Begnaud says he was approached by one of the men and told to leave if he valued his safety. Begnaud said local residents told him more modern technology and manpower is needed to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol said in a statement, “Roma, Texas, is one of the most volatile areas of the southwest border.” They added, “Criminal organizations seek to exploit any shortages or gaps in border infrastructure, technology and personnel.”
