After facing criticism for a slow response, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is finally commenting on allegations that her longtime friend and financial backer Harvey Weinstein is a sexual predator.

The former Democratic nominee for president said today, "I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein.  The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated."

As Katie Pavlich noted in Townhall, over the years, Weinstein has donated and raised hundreds-of-thousands of dollars for Democrats and in 2016, he served as a fundraising bundler for Clinton.

Pavlich noted, Clinton’s been busy tweeting about the NRA and against President Trump for days, but up until today had been silent on Weinstein.
