A U.S. Military Academy graduate and Army infantry officer has been condemned after posing with a sign showing his support for communism and posting pro-Colin Kaepernick messages on social media.

Alumni of West Point shared a photo on Twitter of Spencer Rapone making a fist with one hand as he holds a cap with a sign inside that reads “Communism will win.”

Another shows Rapone wearing a Che Guevara shirt underneath his military uniform. In addition to his unabashed support for communism,

Rapone has also been outspoken on social media with his support for Chelsea Manning, saying his actions are inspired by the disgraced transgender leaker.

Army officials have condemned Rapone and said an investigation was opened Tuesday.
