Can a Conservative Conduct an Orchestra?

First it was conservative speakers who were prevented from appearing on college campuses by left-wing activists.

Now, 960 The Patriot’s own Dennis Prager reports a group is working to stop him from leading an orchestra.

Prager, who has been a guest conductor for years, writes in Townhall that he was invited to conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

That didn’t sit well with a few left-wing members of the orchestra who, with the support of city officials, took up a campaign to have Prager disinvited.

Prager says it’s a new low for the liberal left – showing that it is not enough to prevent conservatives from speaking; it is now necessary to prevent conservatives from appearing even when not speaking.

Apparently, says Prager, “Conservatives should not even be allowed to make music.”
