A United States District Judge has halted the deportation of more than 90 Somali nationals — 60 of which are convicted criminals.

Breitbart reports a District Judge stopped about 92 Somali nationals from being deported back to Somalia after a class-action lawsuit was filed claiming federal immigration officials mistreated them on a previous deportation attempt back at the beginning of December.

The lawsuit alleges that immigration officials “kicked, struck, choked and dragged” some of the nationals during the trip.

Thanks to the judge’s ruling, the Somali nationals will not be deported anytime soon, as a hearing for the lawsuit is scheduled after the New Year.

President Trump’s administration has been wildly successful with deporting criminal illegal aliens, specifically those from Somalia.
