Fresno State Professor Who Said ‘Trump Must Hang’ Apologizes Profusely, Flees Fresno

Following up on story we first brought you last week, the history professor at California State University, Fresno who called for President Trump to be "hanged" on Twitter has apologized profusely and taken a temporary leave of absence.

The Daily Caller reports Lars Maischak, says he now regrets the tweets, adding he has received a “flood of threats and hate-mail” for tweeting that the president and other Republicans be murdered.

Maischak, who has now fled Fresno, is facing an investigation by the Secret Service for the tweets and his classes have been cancelled.

Over 1,100 people have signed a petition demanding that Fresno State fire Maischak for his violent political views.
