Some Republican lawmakers say that the FISA surveillance memo that has been talked about so much recently will “shock the country.”
On Monday, House Republicans said that the intelligence committee plans to work on releasing the four-page memo allegedly containing "jaw-dropping" revelations about U.S. government surveillance abuses to the public.
Republican Rep. Dave Joyce told Fox News that once Americans see the document, they’ll “be surprised how bad it is.”
Joyce said he’s personally read the memo twice and “it was deeply disturbing.”
Joyce and others suggest that it contains damning evidence that the Obama administration used FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and his transition team.
The process of releasing the memo could take up to 19 congressional working days.
