Republicans on key congressional committees say they have uncovered new irregularities and contradictions inside the FBI’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server.
The Hill reports investigators say they have proof that the FBI believed there was evidence that some laws were broken when Clinton and her top aides sent a large volume of classified information through her unsecure private email server.
They called it proof of criminality.
Lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee who were part of a closed-door briefing by FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe say McCabe confirmed that the investigation was controlled by a small group in Washington rather than by normal processes.
Some Republicans on the committee say the findings and revelations have left them more convinced than ever that FBI leadership rigged the outcome to clear Clinton.
