Colin Kaerpernick appears to have given up hope of being hired to play football for any team as he has now made moves to sue NFL owners for “colluding against hiring him.”
Kaepernick has become deeply unpopular with many NFL fans after starting the whole kneeling during the National Anthem craze.
He left the 49ers in March, expecting to be picked up elsewhere but has instead spent six weeks of the current season without a team.
So, he has now hired a lawyer and is suing unnamed NFL owners because he believes that he's being blackballed by the NFL.
The move is likely to make him even more undesirable to teams.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell denied that Kaepernick has been blackballed or that there was any collusion.
